Objectives:To investigate the association between Pro200Leu gene polymorphism of Glutathione peroxidase-1(GPx-1) and type2diabetes mellitus and diabetic peripheral neuropathy in Han Chinese in Changde region in Huan Province.Methods:The study selected patients diagnosed with type2diabetic peripheral neropathy(DPN (+) group,n=150)?type2diabetes mellitus (DPN (-) group,n=150) and normal control subjects(NC group,n=265).
