This paper discusses the history of research and development in southern Xinjiang, cotton transpiration, detailed introduces the research status of cotton moisture in the Southern soil evaporation, experiment on cotton were tested with 12 different irrigation amount, while monitoring the atmospheric radiation effects, simulated transpiration of cotton throughout the growth cycle, and research progress on cotton transpiration is discussed,on the basis of the cotton transpiration of the future research prospects.Through the analysis of this article,I hope that we can give some suggestions to the development of cotton in southern Xinjiang.1.The difficulty and strength of cotton in soil water absorption and utilization are determined by the migration patterns and conditions of soil moisture, thus affecting the yield and growth and development of cotton plants.Too little water soil salt cannot be washed out,go against the stability of cotton growth and yield, too much water lead to water leakage, water cannot get full use of,is not conducive to saving water. So the suitable soil moisture environment can not only make cotton exuberant vegetative growth is restrained, and conducive to the cotton root growth,in the process of cotton growth and development of understand it is very important for the soil moisture migration rule. The water content of water and nitrogen treatment in moderate saline soils was higher than that of mildly saline soils.2.With the growth of cotton growth period in the same amount of fertilizer treatment,in July cotton boll period with the irrigation increased the number of soil water content reached the highest level, this is because the cotton in this period the soil evaporation and plant transpiration increases, water demand of cotton increased the highest irrigation amount. The amount of irrigation is increased, and the water content in the soil increases. When the irrigation quota is low,the root effect of the cotton root to the soil moisture is reduced when it is absorbed and converted. At the later stage of cotton growth, with the decrease of irrigation volume and irrigation volume, soil evaporation and transpiration decreased, and the water demand of cotton decreased gradually. At this stage, soil moisture content gradually decreased.3.The soil moisture content of cotton irrigation quota and treatment design level in different seasons is compared with the soil moisture content before and after winter irrigation and spring irrigation.Winter irrigation + spring soil moisture content is higher, and then affect cotton transpiration, when only spring irrigation quota lower 1500 m3 / hm2,cotton soil moisture content is low,the late will directly affect the cotton transpiration.4.According to the results of the actual transpiration simulation,it was found that the evapotranspiration reached a peak of 6.63 mm/d in 186 th days during the bud period, the bud stage, the boll stage, the opening period and the whole growth period. At this time, cotton is in flower and boll stage. In the southern Xinjiang salinization environment, the water evaporation and the transpiration rate are the fastest. In the period of cotton growth, according to the cotton transpiration, scientific, reasonable and effective use of water resources, not only has an important influence on the rational utilization of water resources, but also reduces the water loss in the whole growth cycle, increases the use efficiency of water resources, monitoring and prevention of drought, and further changes the change of water resources.Good agricultural water-saving projects can all play an important role.
