With human overexploitation of fishery resources,traditional fisheries production has become increasingly unable to meet people's demand for high protein food such as fish,and in the background of China gradually paying attention to marine development,fish farming has the tendency to move to the deep sea and the size of fish farming will be larger.Fish farming is a kind of advanced farming methods,and its security and reliability is the key to promotion.whether its safety and reliability are key to a promotion,so the research of the hydrodynamic characteristics of fish cage in the marine environment is very important.This article conducts numerical simulations of the simplified floater of the cage in regurler waves and current.In order to conducting the hydrodynamic experiment and the numerical simulations,the horizontal action of the wave is simulated by the oscillating flow.With KC between 5 and 45,a part of floater which the angle with the wave is 90 degrees has been studied.The mass coefficient and the drag coefficient of the floater structure are get based on the Morison equation,experiment based on double floating in the cage has also been conducted.The analysis shows that,the free surface of wave is remarkable in the study of the hydrodynamic of the semi-immerged floater,and the mass coefficient and the drag coefficient of the floater structure is different from the recommended value.The coefficients and the empirical equations obtained in this article can be used for the numerical simulations of the fish cage based on the Morison equation.
