The dynamics of honeybee population is one of the core contents of honeybee population ecology.Research contents includes natality,mortality,sex ratio,age structure and some other statistical parameters.The study on honeybee population dynamics not only predictes the future trend of population development,abounds the study of honeybee population ecology,but also provide some theoretical basis for scientific beekeeping production..We studied the dynamic of Apis cerana cerana during April to December in Wenzhou,as well as the impact of temperature and humidity,storage capacity of powder and honey on population development.At the same time,the changes in the natality,sex ratio and age structure were determined.And the study of natality was measured at individual and group two levels;the study of sex ratio involved in sealed broods and sexual maturity two levels.The results showed that:(1)Individual population dynamics of A.c.cerana totally fluctuated with significant seasonal change,which showing the trend of growth,decline,re-growth and re-decline,closely related to climate,nectar and pollen.The curves of changes in number of honeybee eggs,larvae,and sealed broods were consistent with each other,but the number of adults showed two peaks in July 23 and December 3.(2)The natality of A.c.cerana individual experiment population in Wenzhou showed an obviously seasonal undulatory property,which presented a slowdown to increase,falling down trend,followed by a increase and a descent.The natality was higher in the honey flow period than other periods.The maximum natality(778 eggs per day)appeared at the beginning of June,while the minimum(126 eggs per day)appeared at the end of December..(3)The age structure of experiment population was growth-type during May 26 to June 23,recession-type during July 3 to August 24,stable-type during September 12 to November 19,and recession-type after December 3.(4)The drone's sealed broods emerged concentratly in April and May,and quickly quantity reduced and soon disappeared after June.And the number of the sealed broods of queen varied with no obvious regulation.The third sex ratio,the sealed broods of drone and queen with mating potential was 491?2451;The drone adults emerged concentratly in April to June,with a rapid decline after that.According to period of the virgin queens sexual maturity,the number of the drones would mate with virgin queens obtained.So,the forth sex ratio was fluctuating within the range of 363?3064.
