Use Effects Research Of Carrageenan Scraps On Agriculture

The carrageenan scraps were collected from the factory in Fujian Shishi city.The excrement(pig manure,cattle manure,chicken manure,sheep manure)were taken from representative large-scale livestock and poultry farms in Fujian and Inner Mongolia.The article studied the application affect of carrageenan scraps to soil about soil nutrient release characteristics and pH change.The carrageenan scraps were also mixed with livestock and poultry excrement to research the mixture nutrient release characteristics and pH change.The test further researched the affect to vegetable growth and soil physical and chemical properties,when carrageenan scraps and livestock and poultry excrement were mixed in different proportions.Result is as follows:1.The nutritive elements in carrageenan scraps were rich,the content of total nitrogen(N),phosphorus(P),potassium(K)were 2.50g/kg,6.70g/kg,19.40g/kg respectively,and the content of available N,P,K,Ca,Mg is 103.47 mg/kg,127.17 mg/kg,1288.87 mg/kg,4325.18 mg/kg,2465.51 mg/kg respectively.The content of amino acids in carrageenan scraps was accounted for 0.87%of dry weight.2.When the carrageenan scraps were applied to tidal soil,paddy soil and garden soil,the three kinds of soil pH were obviously improved.The amount of applied carrageenan scraps was 20 to 100g/kg,and the soil pH was improved 0.90 to 1.85 units.The content of available N,P,K,Ca,Mg in different soil was also increased to varying degrees,the content of available N was improved by 2.92 to 19.84mg/kg,at the same time,the content of available P was improved by 4.64 to 29.20mg/kg and the content of available K was improved by 18.50 to 67.90mg/kg.In addition,the increase ratio of available Ca was 5.87%to 82.54%,and the available Mg was 16.04%to 84.36%.3.When the carrageenan scraps and livestock and poultry excrement were mixed in different proportions,the mixtures pH and available nutrients changed obviously.The mixtures pH was higher than organic fertilizer without carrageenan scraps,the added value were 0.26 to 1.34 units.The content of available N was descended in pig manure mixture,chicken manure mixture and sheep manure mixture,but it was slightly increased in cattle manure mixture.In contrary,the mixtures available P and K were increased,the available P were improved by 87.03 to 834.22mg/kg,the available K were improved by 362.37 to 2004.19mg/kg.The available Ca and Mg were not changed significantly.4.When varied proportions of mixtures were applied into soil,the impacts to vegetable agronomic traits were different.The vegetable growth effects in treatments which applied mixtures were better than those that grew in treatments which applied full carrageenan scraps.Mixtures applied to soil were better to improve vegetable agronomic traits on girth of stem,number of leaves,length and width of maximum leaf.5.In the experiment,the accumulation of vegetable dry matter was promoted under the influence of mixture,and the mixtures were also favorable to vegetable on the absorption of nutritional elements in soil.If sequence the accumulation of vegetable dry matter,the order was 1:3 treatment(it means the total nitrogen proportion of carrageenan scraps and livestock and poultry excrement was 1:3.)>1:4>1:2>1:1.The treatments applied carrageenan scraps were richer in total nitrogen N,P,K than the full carrageenan scraps treatments,and the vegetable nutrient content of 1:3 treatment and 1:4 treatment were richer than that of other treatments.6.The affect of application of carrageenan scraps was obviously to soil water holding capacity and soil available nutrient.Carrageenan scraps in soil could improve water holding capacity to 42.07%,the soil applied mixtures of water holding capacity were 30.43%to 40.09%.After planting vegetables twice,the soil applied mixtures was still rich in available nutrient.After test and analysis,it showed that the content of available N was 129.76 to 147.66mg/kg,the content of available P was 28.23 to 64.31mg/kg,the content of available K was 111.91 to 126.66mg/kg,the content of available Ca was 708.60 to 809.33mg/kg,the content of available Mg was 113.61 to 136.36mg/kg.
