This study on the alpine steppe as the research object,studies the fence inside and outside the alpine steppe vegetation community composition and structural characteristics,biological diversity,the change of the nutrients,to deepen the grassland ecosystem health and service value to provide scientific basis.The results showed that:(1)The fence for nurture of alpine steppe plant height,coverage,density,biomass are varying degrees of impact,the height of the fence in plant,coverage,density,biomass and other indicators of value,the largest is 21.57 cm,respectively,7.53%,21.64 strains(bundle)/m~2,7.75 g/m~2,and compared with outside the fence and the control group with significant difference(P<0.05),and frequency content in the control group significantly different inside and outside of the fence.The main native alpine steppe plant communities in the study area for Stipa purpurea+Festuca ovina,but due to human disturbance such as overgrazing make fence outside S.purpurea and F.ovina height,coverage,density,biomass decreased,Leymus tianschanicus,Astragalus alpinus,Oxytropis ochrantha,Taraxacum mongolicum,Leontopodium leontopodioide and other plants grow quickly,its each index is down but declines far less S.purpurea and F.ovina,therefore,fences for nurture affects the plant status of original plant community,make the original position of the dominant species decreased,miscellaneous grass dominant position.(2)The fence for nurture have different degrees of influence on alpine steppe plant diversity,within the fence,railing,control group under the condition of three kinds of processing,plant abundance index(Margalef),ecological dominance index(Simpson),Shannon-Wiener diversity index,evenness index(Pielou)are showed a trend of decline,show the fence inside>fence outside>enclosure,in the control group.Inside the fence of Margalef index,Simpson index,Shannon-Wiener index are maximum,were 1.18,0.98,0.59,and outside the fence,there were significant differences.(3)The fence for nurture of alpine steppe plant crude protein,crude ash,crude fat,calcium,phosphorus,acid washing fiber,neutral detergent fiber content to some extent,the influence of the fence to make plant crude protein,crude ash,neutral detergent fiber content increase,reduce phosphorus acid washing,fiber content,crude fat content obvious difference compared with calcium content.
