Swine coccidiosis is widespread across the world,which mainly occurs in suckling piglets,with high incidence rate and low death rate,resulting in the slow growth,diarrhea,death of piglets and economic loss.1.In order to study the effects of 5%Toltrazuril suspension on piglets growth and the infection of Isospora suis,90 litters of newborn piglets were selected and randomly divided into 3 groups:test group 1(5%toltrazuril suspension group),test group 2(2.5%toltrazuril solution group)and control group(physiological saline group).The piglets of test group l,test group 2 and control group were drenched with 1mL 5%toltrazuril suspension,2mL 2.5%toltrazuril solution and ImL physiological saline respectively at birth.The fecal samples of the piglets were collected per week form week 1 to week 7 to detect swine coccidian oocysts.Weighing piglets weight on day 1,day 14,weaning day,day 42 and day 56 respectively.The results show in swine farm 1,no Isospora suis oocyst was detected in test group 1.The highest positive rate of the oocyst was 13.33%on week 5 of test group 2.In control group,the highest positive rate of the oocyst was 33.33%on week 3.The average weight of test group 1 piglets was significantly heavier than that of test group 2 and control group on day 42(P<0.01).There was no significant difference between average weight of test group 2 and control group(P>0.05).The average weight of test group 1 was 1.10kg heavier than that of control group.The max ADG of test group 1 was 0.023kg and 0.033kg heavier than that of test group 2 and control group respectively.In swine farm 2,,Isospora suis oocyst was detected in test group 1 on week 3,with 6.67 percent of positive rate.The highest positive rate of test group 2 and control group was 20.00%on week 6.The average piglet weight of test group 1 and group 2 had significant difference with control group on day 56(P<0.01).The average weight of test group 1 was 1.11kg and 2.18kg heavier than that of test group 2 and control group respectively.The max ADG of test group 1 was 0.021kg and 0.053kg higher than that of test group 2 and control group respectively.2.In order to find an effective anticoccidal drug to kill the coccidial oocyst or inhibit sporulation of the oocysts in the external environment.Five kinds of anticoccidal drugs an d disinfectants were selected.Results show:first,with 40 times of oral dose for 6 hours,inhibiton rate of anticoccidial drug on coccidial oocyst was in descending order:Decoquin ate Premix>Diclazuril Premix>Dinitolmide Premix>Amprolium Hydrochloride and sulfaquiox aline Sodium>Sulfaclozine,median effective dose(EC50)was in descending order:Sulfaclo zine>Amprolium Hydrochloride and sulfaquioxaline Sodium>Diclazuril Premix>DinitolmideP remix>Decoquinate Premix,and half sporulation time of the oosyst(EH50)was in descen ding order:Decoquinate Premix>Diclazuril Premix>Dinitolmide Premix>Amprolium Hydr ochloride and sulfaquioxaline Sodium>Sulfaclozine.Second,ammonia solution and carbondi sulfide work best as disinfectant,which can completely inhibit sporulation of the oocyst w ith more than 6 percent of concentration,.After treating with the same concentration for 6 hours,inhibiton rate of disinfectant on oocyst sporulation was in descending order:Ammonia solution= Carbon disulfide>Phenol>Formalin>Lodine tincture,median effective dose(EC50)was in descending order:Lodine tincture>Formalin>Phenol>Ammonia soluti on>Carbon disulfide,and half sporulation time of the oosyst(EH50)was in descending order:Ammonia solution= Carbon disulfide>Phenol>Formalin>Lodine tincture. |
