Study On The Effect Of Stocking Density On Production Performance And Behavior In Liaoning Cashmere Goat

The research on Liaoning cashmere goat feeding under with lambing ewes as the research object,to explore the feeding conditions under different stocking density on body weight,body size,Liaoning cashmere goat on rectal temperature,serum cortisol and behavior.In order to raise density housing condition establishment of Liaoning cashmere goats with lambing ewes provide effective parameters,to provide theoretical basis for the practice of production.The experiment was conducted in the Liaoning province of Liaoning cashmere goat breeding center from June 1,2016 to August 31 st,216 good physical condition,similar weight Liaoning cashmere goats and 180 Liaoning cashmere goats lamb as the research object,randomly divided into 3 groups,with 3 replicates in each group,24 ewes,20 lambs.The feeding density of the experimental group was set to 2m2/only(high density group),2.5m2/ only(medium density group)and 3m2/ only(low density group).The sheep shed was a sheep house with a half open window with a playground outside the house.The sheep were free to enter and leave.Each group of feeding and management,using artificial feeding and free drinking water raising and feeding mode,free feeding and drinking.Feeding density test for 92d(pre experimental period of 7 d)on the 1d,30 d,61d,92 d,randomly selected from each experimental group in the 9 Liaoning cashmere goats(3 lamb,6 ewes)as the research objects for the determination of weight and body size,rectal temperature detection the measurement and serum cortisol and the use of all-weather 24 h camera to observe and record the behavior changes of each group of the experimental sheep.Experiment 1: Effects of feeding density of Liaoning cashmere goats weight and body size.Tests for 1st,30 th,61th,and 92 th day were carried out to determine body weight,body size(body height,body length,chest circumference,tube circumference,waist angle width).The results show:(1)The total weight gain of the lambs in the high density group was higher than that in the low density group and the medium density group,but there was no significant difference(P> 0.05);(2)During the test period,the total weight gain of the lambs in the medium density group was 9.12 cm,and the total weight gain of the lambs in the low density group was 4.46 cm,the difference was significant(P <0.05),and the length of the lambs in the high density group There was no significant difference in total weight gain(P> 0.05).But there was no significant difference between the two groups(P> 0.05);(3)The total weight gain of the ewes in the densely divided ewes was higher than that in the low density group and the high density group,but there was no significant difference(P> 0.05);(4)During the test period,the low density group of ewes high total growth of 1.18 cm,there are significant differences in the density and total number of ewes group high growth and high density high total growth in the number of ewes group(P < 0.05),medium density and high density group group of ewes ewes high negative growth,respectively-0.77 cm and-1.05 cm.It was found that the total number of growth test period,high density group of ewes circumference total growth the largest number of 0.42 cm,low density group ewes circumference total growth maximum number is-0.10 cm,very significant difference(P < 0.05),medium density group total number of ewe circumference growth difference between 0.20 cm and high and low density group was not significant(P > 0.05).The body length,chest circumference and waist width index were not significantly increased among the different density groups(P > 0.05).The results show that the whole barn feeding conditions in this experiment,2m2/only and 2.5m2/ only the breeding density was beneficial to improve the growth performance of ewes of Liaoning cashmere goats.Experiment 2.the influence of feeding density on rectal temperature and serum cortisol and cortisol in Liaoning Cashmere Goats.Tests for 1st,30 th,61th,and 92 th day were performed for rectal temperature measurements and serum cortisol detection.The result shows:(1)Reared in different densities between Liaoning cashmere goat lamb lamb,there are significant differences between the rectal temperature of low density group at the end of August and middle density group(P < 0.05),there are significant differences between the group of low density and high density group(P < 0.05),there was no significant difference between the medium density and high density group group(P > 0.05);feeding in different densities between ewes of Liaoning cashmere goats,there was no significant difference between rectal temperature(P > 0.05);(2)There was no significant difference in serum cortisol and hormone concentrations between Liaoning cashmere goats reared at different densities(P > 0.05).The above results showed that the three sets of densities were in line with the demand of Liaoning cashmere goats for their feeding environment.Experiment 3.effect of stocking density on behavior of Liaoning Cashmere Goat.All day long 24 h webcam recording experimental sheep behavior duration(walking,standing,lying,eating and movement duration,frequency of drinking water),according to video data in groups of 70% behaviors were observed and recorded.The result shows:(1)low,middle and high group rearing density in standing behavior,walking behavior,foraging behavior and movement duration were not significant(P > 0.05),in repose behavior,low density and medium density group 53.72% group 51.72%,significantly higher than the high density group(P < 0.05)44.16%;(2)the number of drinking water of Liaoning cashmere goats was higher than that of low density group and medium density group(P > 0.05).Through observation,we found that sheep only drink during the day,while drinking behavior has two peaks,one is in the peak period of food intake,and the other is in the afternoon when the temperature is the highest,leading to a relatively increased number of drinking water.The above results showed that the high density group of 2m2/only increased the feeding time and outdoor sports field time of the Liaoning cashmere goats,and the duration of behavior in the low density group of 2.5m2/only middle density group and 3m2/only was basically the same.Liaoning cashmere goat drinking times associated with feeding density and environmental temperature.
