Zambia isone of the first countries to establishdiplomatic relations with China in south African.Agriculture is an important area in China’s aid to Africa.Zambiahas a tropical climate,rich in natural resources and suitable to cultivate Volvariella volvacea.Our country is the earliest to cultivate V.volvaceaand is the origin of the worldV.volvacea.There have been no reports of V.Volvaceacultivation.This study attempts to introducethe Chinese V.volvacea into Zambia for the first time,and it conducts a preliminary research and analysis on the cultivation facilities,fermented raw material cultivation techniques,sterilized raw material cultivation techniques and their economic benefits in the dry cold,dry hot and humid hot season in Zambia,the main research results are as follows:ⅰ.Initial temperature selecting test and cultivation test for 7 Chinese V.volvacea strain finds that 0025,V901,V971,V04,V15,V38 and V28 are unfit cultivation under 25℃.V15,V38 and V28 are fit cultivation under 30℃.V901 and V971 are fit cultivation under 35℃.V0025 and V04 are not V.volvacea strains.V901,V971,V15,V38 and V28 are good strains.ⅱ.The preliminary study on remarkable thermal insulation and temperature stabilization effect of the self-designed cultivation facilities of V.Volvacea infersthat the temperature difference could be shortened by 4-9 ℃,the average temperature within the facility is higher than the average temperature outside the facility 4.5-10 ℃.The self-designed V.volvacea cultivation facility has remarkable thermal insulation and heat stabilization effects,could be used for the cultivation of V.Volvacea.ⅲ.Through experiment analysis of fermentation material and sterilized raw materials cultivated 5 strains of China infers that V.volvaceacultivation in Zambia is feasible.Biological conversion rate is low in dry and cold season.No heating is not suitable for cultivation or need to selecting low temperature tolerance strain.Under natural state could cultivate V.volvacea in hot and wet hot season.5 strains could be cultivated and V15 is the most suitable cultivation,biological conversion rate is up to 33.4%,fermentation material is more suitable for V.volvaceacultivation in Zambia.ⅳ.This thesis conducts preliminary study and analysis on the economic benefits of V.volvacea introduced in Zambia through field investigation and comparative analysis,the results show that both cultivation methods could be profitable.Through 25m2 areas,6 cultivation cycles and the workers earning 6400 yuan a year as an example calculation infer that fermentation material cultivation profitable 18450.6 yuan(27675.9K)and it was 2.9 times the annual income of average worker,sterilized raw materialscultivation profitable 13734.4 yuan(20601.5K)and it was 2.1 times the annual income of average worker.V.volvacea cultivation has higher economic value in Zambia.In a conclusion,V.Volvacea cultivation has a very broad development prospects in Zambia,it has low cultivation cost,short cycle,simple technology and has a high economic value.It could improve the income,increase employment and improve the level of national experience for Zambians.it has a further promotionof Chinese V.volvacea worldwide.
