Today, genetic algorithm has become an important branch in the field of computational intelligence.Cloud model is a qualitative and quantitative uncertainty conversion model, which combined fuzzy mathematics with probability theory. It can accurately express the uncertainty of natural language, especially the fuzziness and randomness, and provides a new idea for the expression of uncertainty problems. The traditional genetic algorithm often has some disadvantages to solve the complex problem, like great randomness and blindness, searching slowly and poor searching ability. Thus, combining the uncertainty of cloud model with the traditional genetic algorithm, this paper improve the performance of genetic algorithm and the convergence speed. This algorithm uses the Y conditional cloud generator instead of crossover operation and uses the normal cloud generator instead of mutation operation to update the populations. The management technology of Qinghai alpine meadow pasture is primitive and backward, herd structure is unreasonable, and the serious overgrazing all leads to the destruction of ecological environment and the farmers income reduction. To alleviate this problem, farmers need to adopt scientific grazing patterns.Based on the theory of information technology and grazing system optimization, this paper develops a cloud genetic algorithm to solve the problem of population structure optimization of yak in alpine pasture.Considering the sustainable development and protection of natural grassland resources and animal husbandry,With the goal of the maximum money income and maximum comprehensive income and with the forage resources as constraints, the optimization model of grazing population structure was established.Firstly, the mathematical model was used to model the population structure of yak in alpine pasture. Then, simulating and solving the model which by the improved cloud genetic algorithm. Finally, analyzing the experimental results and getting the conclusion, which provide some guidance for alpine pasture production plan.
