Cotton as a major cash crop in Xinjiang,it plays an important role in economic development,so how to improve cultivation efficiency it's critical.This paper selects two cotton variety: hybrid cotton variety No.63 and conventional cotton variety No.2 superior system.Under the same cultivation technique measures,with the aid of the LI-COR company produces the LI-250-a light meter and LI-190 sa linear light quantum sensor and test the two varieties of cotton canopy Photosynthetic Active Radiation(PAR),Leaf area index(LAI),spatial light distribution patterns of change and yield characteristics of the two cotton varieties were studied in this paper.Two cotton varieties canopy cultivation of absorbed photosynthetically active radiation(APAR)daily variations are changing over time and changes in the amount of solar radiation.Hybrid cotton and conventional cotton canopy of the middle and lower photosynthetic active radiation intercepted quantity(FAPAR)have the same daily variation trend;Conventional cotton canopy FAPAR difference of middle and lower level is not apparent,Hybrid cotton is different with it,show two varieties of cotton plant type.Two groups of cotton varieties APAR vary with growth period show unimodal curve,and the change trend of FAPAR is stable after rising first,two group of cotton varieties of APAR and FAPAR vary with growth period coincided with cotton growth and development rules.In the analysis of agronomic traits of conventional cotton and hybrid cotton in high yield cotton field,it was found that both the growth and development indexes of conventional cotton,leaf area index,fresh and dry biomass of aboveground parts and yield were less than those of hybrid cotton,especially after flowering stage.The results showed that hybrid cotton had strong growth vigor after full bloom stage,and the superiority of single plant was obvious,and the production performance was better than that of conventional cotton.There was a significant positive correlation between APAR and FAPAR with LAI,and the correlation coefficient between canopy FAPAR and LAI.Two varieties of cotton canopy FAPAR relevance to LAI is higher than the correlation coefficient of canopy APAR and LAI.The correlation between FAPAR and LAI was the highest(r conventional cotton = 0.980**,r hybrid cotton=8708**,n=18).The correlations between the fresh biomass and the APAR of the hybrid cotton and conventional cotton were significant(P <0.05).In addition,except Hybrid cotton canopy APAR and total dry biomass,conventional cotton,hybrid cotton APAR and the dry biomass of reproductive organs had no significant correlation.Conventional cotton and hybrid cotton canopy APAR,FAPAR and the rest of the components of dry biomass were significantly positive correlation.The correlation coefficients of FAPAR with dry biomass of canopy were higher than that of canopy APAR.Two varieties of cotton canopy APAR and FAPAR with seed cotton yield were extremely significant linear positive correlation,and the correlation coefficient of APAR was higher than that of FAPAR.The results showed that the cotton canopy APAR and FAPAR had a significant effect on the crop yield,canopy APAR significantly correlation with leaf fresh weight,dry weight,and the canopy FAPAR significantly related with fresh weight and dry weight of reproductiveorgans.It is showed that in the process of cultivation management can be measured by cotton photosynthetic active radiation(PAR)and to calculate cotton canopy APAR and FAPAR,According to the model of APAR and FAPAR with cotton agronomy fresh(dry)and LAI,it can effectively understand and master understand and grasp the cotton group of light energy utilization and cotton population growth condition.Adjust the field management measures to improve the growth and development of cotton,which further increases the cotton production.
