After the crop seeds and grains are harvested,the straws contains rich organic matter,Inorganic matter and trace elements,which is a kind of multipurpose and renewable biological resources,and an important organic fertilizer for agricultural production as well.Cutting and grinding is one of the basic processes for straw resource utilization.At present,straw cutting and grinding devices on the market have some problems,such as large power consumption,high cost,incomplete cutting,uneven grinding and dust pollution etc.,which seriously restrict the application and popularization of straw resource utilization technology.Straw burning takes place sometimes,resulting in environmental pollution,resource waste and a serious threat to the traffic safety,which has become a social focus.Especially in recent years,with the popularization of agricultural production such as greenhouse and other facilities,huge amount of cane straws are generated.Therefore,its cutting process tends to be more difficult,which brings great pressure to modern facility agriculture and healthy green production.Considering cane straw resource utilization's requirement for cutting and grinding process,and problems like difficulties in cutting and grinding,large power consumption etc.,this paper compared drum cutting and other common cutting and grinding ways,finding out that drum cutting has high efficiency,low power consumption,less noise and other advantages.Hence,drum cutting ad direct grinding of cane straws was put forward.,but meanwhile it lacks of adaptability of different straws,It has important engineering application value and practical instructive significance for promoting straw resource utilization to make a study on the special cutter device and its performance test by setting eggplant cane straw as the cutting object on this basis.(1)The calculation and analysis of the main components of the cutting device.The results show: the cutting method of Spiral cutting edge and same cutting angle is conducive to the toughness of the larger cane straw cutting;the analytical parameters were obtained by comprehensive analysis: when the cutting speed of 9.16 m/s,cutter install 4 knives,knife for the flat blade,the cutting gap is 0.1-0.4mm: cutting performance is better,high stability.Design and analysis of belt conveyor and press device,The results show: cooperate belt conveyor,press device and the cutter in work,can be irregular shape,branch of the straw pressed compact evenly continuous,stable delivery and cutting,thereby improving the cutting efficiency.(2)Finite element simulation analysis of cutter under different straw cutting layers.The results show: The strain and stress values of the cutter knife increase with the increase of the number of straw cutting layers,and the increase of strain and stress increases slow with the increase of the number of straw cutting layers;the cutting force of the knife is uniform,so that the stress and strain distribution is uniform and the cutting is stable.Analysis of Straw Particle Simulation Test with Different Length by Using Discrete Element Software.The results show: longer straw particles(greater than 24mm)are thrown into the knife area below the drum,and a few long straw particles are thrown into the outer area of the knife.(3)The main factors affecting the cutting performance of the drum are analyzed and the relationship between them,and the mathematical model of cutting length control is established.By applying mechanical engineering testing technology and sensor technology,taking LabVIEW virtual instrument as a platform and adopting modular design method,the test system of drum cutter device performance was designed.The test system processed the cutting speed,torque and conveying speed signals,calculated parameters;through the calculation,the performance such as power consumption and productivity were gained and displayed on the virtual instrument platform,analyzed and processed;by controlling the cutting speed and conveying speed parameters,the stable control of cutting speed,transmission speed and cutting length can be realized.(4)Experimental study on cutting of drum cutting device.The cutting test was carried out to analyze the cutting performance of different straw layers,cutting speed and belt speed,it is verified that the cutting of the helical edge blade and the binder device and the belt conveyor cooperate to reduce the cutting power consumption and improve the cutting efficiency;the increase in the number of straw cutting layers increases the production efficiency,reduces the cutting power,and the cutting length remains constant;increasing the cutting speed can reduce the cutting length and reduce the cutting power;increasing the belt conveyor speed reduces power and increases productivity.Through the multi-factor cross-cutting test of eggplant rattan straw drum cutting device,the optimal cutting performance was analyzed: when cutting speed of 700 rpm,belt conveying speed of 200 rpm,cutting layer number of 5 layers,the straw cutting length stabilized at 30 mm,cutting power of about 1.2KW,cutting production efficiency of 1248 Kg / h.In the same cutting power,the production efficiency has improved significantly.
