As one of the main pillars of the Quaternary environment,the complete loess ancient soil sequence in the Loess Plateau is one of the three main pillars of the Quaternary environment,which has been enriched by 2.5 B.P.Ma.Luochuan profile is one of the standard sections of the Loess Plateau,which provided a good research material for the study of the ancient climate and ancient environment changes.Because of the limitation of the extraction technology of the ancient environmental information,There are few studies on the short time scale of loess in Luochuan.Extraction of paleoenvironmental change information using various methods,at the same time to strengthen the study of the Luochuan loess high resolution paleoclimatic proxies,and further understanding of the age and duration of abrupt climatic events in the environmental evolution sequence,it was possible to provide the reference information for the prediction of environmental evolution in the future by studying the factors affecting the paleoenvironmental evolution and the interaction mechanism between them.This paper developed a soil sampler,not disturb the integrity of the sampling guarantee.By scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy spectrum analysis and image processing technology,research on microstructure,mineral composition and particle size distribution,the main mineral quartz of Li loess and S1 paleosol in Luochuan,carbonate and oxide and silicate minerals were analyzed in terms of statistics and analysis.Research results showed that:(1)The size distribution of quartz and silicate minerals and carbonate minerals L1 loess and S1 paleosol in Luochuan had obvious differences in the size distribution of quartz and silicate minerals and the cumulative distribution curve was basically the same,the peak of carbonate minerals was different with the former two;(2)Carbonate minerals and silicate minerals are more sensitive to the changes of paleoclimate in the geological period,which can be used as an alternative indicator to indicate the changes of paleoclimate.(3)The test technology of paleoclimate information extraction of high resolution in loess had certain data support,and the results showed that the Li loess of Luochuan was more suitable for the high resolution profile of the short time scale than the Si paleosol.
