To investigate the regulatory and prophylactic effects of resveratrol on oxidative stress and inflammation in FLHS,144 Hy-line laying hens aged 90 days were randomly divided into 4 groups. The group ? was control group(Con),fed on corn-soybean based diet;the group ? was pathological model group(HELP),fed on high-energy-low-protein diet(metabolic energy 3100.00 kcal/kg,crude protein 12.00%);the group ? was Con+Res group, fed on based diet supplemented with 400 mg/kg of resveratrol;the group ? was HELP+Res group, fed on high-energy-low-protein diet supplemented with 400 mg/kg of resveratrol. The experimental period lasted 120 days. The blood and liver tissue samples were randomly collected from 12 hens in each group for relevant experiments on the 40 th days,80 th days, and 120 th days. The results showed as follows:1.Compared to the group ?,the content of MDA in group ? were significantly increased(P<0.01)in serum and liver tissue, and the activities of T-SOD,CAT and GSH-Px were significantly decreased(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Compared to the group ?,the content of MDA in group ? were significantly decreased(P<0.01),and the activities of T-SOD,CAT and GSH-Px were significantly increased(P<0.05 or P<0.01).2.Compared to the group ?,the expression levels of Nrf2,HO-1 and SOD-1 mRNA in liver tissue in group ? were significantly increased(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Compared to the group ?,the expression levels of Nrf2,HO-1 and SOD-1 m RNA in group ? were significantly increased(P<0.01).3.Compared to the group ?,the expression levels of NF-?B,TNF-?,IL-1? and IL-6mRNA in liver tissue in group ? were significantly increased(P<0.01).Compared with the group ?,the expression levels of NF-?B,TNF-?,IL-1? and IL-6 mRNA in group ?were significantly decreased(P<0.01).The results showed that resveratrol can alleviate the oxidative damage and inflammatory injury of the liver by increasing the activity of antioxidant enzymes, activating the Nrf2-ARE signaling pathway and inhibiting the NF-kB signaling pathway.
