Evaluation Of The South Organic Paddy Ecosystem's Services And Functions In Wanzai County

Compared with conventional farming,organic farming emphasized ecological process of agriculture and follow the rules of ecology.They usually are featured with better performance on products quality,resource consumption reduction,ecological protection and economy benefits.These natures enabled organic farming tend to be more environmental friendly and more sustainable than conventional farming.However,most of the studies concerning ecological benefits of organic farming are focused on the concept degree,while few of them have made quantitative reports.The preliminary research results are as follows:(1)Ecological environment evaluation:The quality of soil and biodiversity survey;results show that heavy metalin content of organic paddy system was significantly lower than that of conventional system;contents of soil heavy metalin within the national soil environment quality standards,species richness of organic system biodiversity was significantly higher than that of conventional system in Wanzai County.(2)The value of production function: based on field experiment and statistical data,the value of rice and straw produced with same area between the organic paddy ecosystem and conventional system was estimated with market valuation method.Organic rice production value is1.29×109yuan,the production value of conventional paddy system with the same area is 5.39×108yuan.The results show that the production function value of organic paddy field was significantly higher than that of conventional paddy with the same size.(3)The value of organic solid waste disposing function: the common organic solid waste from agriculture were grain straw and animal waste.This research adopts the cost method and market value method,to evaluate the disposal of organic solid wastes in paddy field system.The results show that the value of organic solid waste rice disposal value is 7.71×108yuan in Wanzai County.(4)The value of of soil fertility maintenance function: based on the accumulation of soil fertility and soil organic matter,with the market value method.The value of of soil fertility maintenance function organic paddy field is 4.91 ×108yuan,the value of of soil fertility maintenance function in the same area of the conventional paddy field is 4.10×108yuan in Wanzai County.(5)The value of reducing pollution :with the market value method to estimate the value of reducing pollution of organic paddy field in Wanzai County;that shows the value of reducing pollution of organic paddy system is 2.07×108yuan,this value in conventional paddy fields should be negative;therefore,organic rice can significantly reduce agricultural pollution.(6)The value of agricultural products safety: for the value estimation of this function,contingent valuation method was applied,results show that the organic paddy field Wanzai County food safety function for the total value of 4.21×108yuan;conventional rice food safety function for the total value of 3.19×108yuan,the value of security function value of organic agriculture than conventional organic rice more 1.02×108yuan.(7)The value of biodiversity reservation function: with the contingent valuation method,equivalent factor method to evaluate the maintain biodiversity value in Wanzai County.The results of the two diffierent paddy system,the value of biodiversity reservation function of organic system is 2.42×108yuan,and the conventional paddy is 2.06×108yuan.(8)Total value of paddy ecosystem's services and functions:the total organic rice ecological function value is 35.9×108yuan,conventional paddy field value of14.16×108yuan,the value of organic system production function is 1.29× 109 yuan,accounting for 35.93% of the all value in organic system;the total value of regulating function ratio is 45.6%,shows that the ecological organic paddy field regulating function can not be ignored;the value of biodiversity is the species richness of organic rice organic rice field 1.17 times the conventional paddy fields of biodiversity value the biodiversity survey is the corresponding.The agricultural ecosystem not only offer products to human beings at the same time,it also plays an important role for the environment.This study content the value of organic systm provide function,the value of regulating function,the value of agricultural products safety,the value of cultural function to estimate the value organic in Wanzai Conty.The total organic rice ecological function value is 35.9×108yuan,conventional paddy field value of 14.16×108yuan,is 2.54 times than the production function value of conventional paddy system,the results show that,the development of organic agriculture economic benefit was higher than that of conventional agriculture,which will provide the scientific basis for the development and promotion of organic paddy field.First,in the support and promotion of organic farming can establish a more perfect promotion system such as financial subsidies,technical services;secondly,resource utilization is also a concern of the project,reduce the grain industrialization,land utilization,timely development of new agricultural production mode.At last,combination of agricultural production and scientific research institutions to reduce agricultural pollution,the development of resource-saving,environment-friendly agriculture,and promote the sustainable development of Agriculture.
