Take excellent native tree species Euscaphis konishii annual planting seeding as experimental material,apply L9(34)orthogonal experiment design,discuss the effect of container type,container size and substrate ratio on the growth and physiological characteristics of Euscaphis konishii annual container seedling,provide the basis of the theory and practice for Euscaphis konishii container seedling production.The results of the study are as follows:(1)Substrate ratio is the main factor that affect the growth of seedling.Seedling height,ground diameter,biomass,total root length,root volume,root number and root activity Seedling in different substrate ratio are significantly different,and seedl-ing in C1(garden soil: peat:river sand: biological organic fertilizer = 6:2:2:1)is the optimal,C2(garden soil: peat:river sand: biological organic fertilizer = 4:4:2:1)follows,and compared with C2,the differences among above indicators are not significant.and compared with C3(garden soil: peat: river sand:biological organic fertilizer = 2:6:2:1),every indicator reaches significant level.(2)The container types are the main factors affecting physiological characteristics of seedling leaf.Seedling height,ground diameter,biomass,root morphology and root vigor of Euscaphis konishii annual container seedling in different containers types are significantly different,but among different containers types,the physiological indexes including leaf degree value,soluble protein content,SOD,POD activity of seedling leaf reach significant difference levels.A1(black seedling pot)in the optimal in above physiological indexes and comprehensive quality,A2(white non-woven bag)follows,excect the leaf value,the physiological indexes were significantly better than A3(transparent plastic film bag).(3)Except different container height significantly affect the total root length and leaf SPAD values of seedling,different container size have no significant impact on seedling growth and the other indexes of physiological characteristics.(4)Principal component analysis results show that: the treatment 6(A2B3C1),choosing 8 cm * 12 cm non-woven bag,substrate ratio for the garden soil,peat,river sand,biological organic fertilizer = 6:2:2:1 scores of the highest seedling quality are the hightest.The test results are also available to apply for production.Except the container type,container size and substrate ratio of the best treatment are consistent with the above kind that recommended as before.(5)Cultivating Euscaphis konishii annual container seedlings,from the aspect of economic,black seedling pot is the best,from the perspective of environmental protection,white non-woven bag is the best,container size choose 8 cm * 12 cm,substrate ratio choose garden soil: peat: river sand: biological organic fertilizer = 6:2:2:1.
