Abstract/Summary:
Cotton,as one of the most important natural fibre crops and oil crops,plays a very important role in our country and the world economy.Heterosis utilization is one of the important means of cotton breeding,also an effective way to improve cotton production and fiber quality.However,the main use of the Huckenixi cotton cytoplasmic male sterile line,there is a single source of cytoplasm,with lower binding and other issues.In 2011,Liu Dongmei was obtained on the island of cotton H11-276 male sterile mutants by pollen-tube pathway to the kenaf non-full length HcPDIL5-2a gene under the guidance of Professor Zhou Ruiyang and others,then the mutant for the cytoplasm donor,breeding out of 11 upland cotton cytoplasmic male sterile lines.Its cytoplasm from H11-276 male sterile mutants,referred to as "C2" cytoplasm.This study use 11 upland cotton C2 cytoplasmic male sterile lines which are breeding by Zhou Ruiyang and 3 sea island cotton restorer materials as parents,prepared 33 new hybridized combinations,by means of recording the growth period,agronomic characters,yield characters,fiber quality and winter hardiness of these combinations,then have a comparative study,analysis the heterosis,and SSR markers were used to polymorphism analysis.The main conclusions are as follows:1.According to the growth period,agronomic traits and the yield components,the results showed that hybridized combinations are all belong to the early maturity varieties,H16-8 was the best comprehensive performance.In the aspect of production,comprehensive consideration of boll number per plant,single boll weight and lint,cross H16-3,H16-21,H16-23 and H16-24 have a better performance.2.In three restorer parents,restorer 105 have a good performance in the aspect of agronomic traits and yield.3.According to the heterosis rate,the results showed that there are 9 hybridized combinations have over-parents heterosis in agronomic traits such as plant height,branch number and yield factors such as single boll weight,boll number per plant,lint.Compared with the agronomic characters,yield factors of hybridized combinations which planted in Nanning,these crosses in Hechi have a better perfonnance.4.Based on the upper half mean length,uniformity,specific breaking strength,micronaire and elongation percentage,the results show that cross H16-3,H16-12,H16-24 and H16-26 have a good fiber quality performance in the five indicators.And cross H16-26 have over-parents heterosis in all the five indicators.5.According to the wintering rate,the results show that cross H16-20,H16-1,H16-22 and H16-27 were all overwintering with the wintering rate of 100%.6.According to the results of yield,fiber quality and overwintering rate,it was suggested that cross H16-3,H16-21 and H16-23 were outstanding.7.8 core primers were detennined from 25 candidate SSR primers to analyze the polymorphism of 29 cotton hybridized combinations from the level of genome DNA.Polymorphism proportion between 22.69%and 35.56%.29 materials could be distinguished completely by the primers TMB1963,Ghlll,MUSS0422 and DPL0071,conducive to the protection of intellectual property rights of hybrids.
