This study base on the occurrence and control of Macadamia pests in Guangxi,by means of systematic investigation,random investigation and indoor feeding,studies on the insect community structure of Macadamia orchards,pest communities structure of different orchards and population dynamics of major pest in 2015 to 2016.The primary coverage and results are as follows:1.The investigation of insect community structure of Macadamia found that there are 186 species of insects in Macadamia orchards,which belong to 14 orders,77 families.Among these pest are 108 species,belong to 7 orders,44 families,58.06%of the total species.The most important pest are Halyomorpha Picus Fabricius,Cryptophlebia ombrodelta Lower,Conogethes punctiferalis(Guenee),Deudorix epijarbas menesicles Fruhstorfer,Zeuzers coffeae Niether and Scirtothrips dorsalis Hood.The first four species should be regarded as the key monitoring objects because they are fruiting pest and cause the direct yield loss.Natural enemies are 33 species,belong to 8 orders,16 families,17.74%of the total species,among these 26 species are predators,7 species are parasites.The major species are Chrysoperla sinica Tjeder,Menochilus sexmaculata(Fabriciys),Paederus fuscipes Curtis and Charops bicolor(Szepligeri).Neutral insects are 45 species,belong to 8 orders,26 families,24.19%of the total species,the major species are Blattella,Sarcophaga naemorrhoidalis Fallen,Chrysomyia megacephala,L.Cuprina,Anopheles sinensis,Tanytarsus formosanus and Chironomus sinicus.2.Studies on the pest communities structure of Macadamia orchards in Cenxi and Longzhou,Guangxi Province,found that the pest communities structure of these two areas are the same,but the specific species and the population quantity of pest are different.Studies on the pest communities structure of Macadamia orchards in Macadamia Seedlings,earsh and adult trees,found that there are great difference in these orchards,the major pest are different too.Studies on the pest communities structure of Macadamia orchards on cultivated varieties GuiRe-1,H2 and OC,found that there are no difference between the three cultivated varieties,but the population quantity and hazard rating of pest are different.3.Studies on the population dynamics of Scirtothrips dorsalis Hood in Macadamia Seedlings and adult trees,found that the population quantity of Scirtothrips dorsalis Hood has three peaks in Macadamia Seedlings:the early ten days and middle ten days of May,the mid-July,the early ten days and middle ten days of October,the highest population quantity in a year is on mid-July;the population quantity of Scirtothrips dorsalis Hood in Macadamia adult trees has three peaks too:the late ten days of March to the early ten days of April,the early ten days and middle ten days of July,the the early ten days and middle ten days of November,and the highest population quantity in a year is on the late ten days of March to the early ten days of April.Study on the population dynamics of Conogethes punctiferalis(Guenee)in Macadamia orchards,found that Conogethes punctiferalis(Guenee)has 2-3 generations in Macadamia orchards,larvae begin to damage on Macadamia in late of May,and it has three peaks:the early of June,the late of July and the early of September.Study on the population dynamics of Zeuzers coffeae Niether in Macadamia orchards,found that Zeuzers coffeae Niether has 2 generations in Macadamia orchards,larvae peak of the first generation occur from mid-May to early of June,while the second generation occur from mid-September to early of October.
