| Close-to-natural management is one of the hotspots in the study of forest management. It is very important for the species diversity research under the close-to-nature management. We studied the shrub and herb biodiversity and its relationship with environment factors at the Pinus tabulaeformis forest, the Larix rincipis-rupprechtii forest and Betula platyphylla forest under close-to-nature management, conventional management and no management at the Wangyedian Forest Farm of Kalaqin banner,Chifeng city,Inner Mongolia. The results showed that:(1)the close-to-nature management could significantly increase the herb species umber and their individuals. The order of the herb number under the Pinus tabulaeformis forest, the Larix rincipis-rupprechtii forest, the Betula platyphylla forest were:close-to-nature management>conventional management>no management. In addition, compared with the no management, disturbance by human management can increase the shrub diversity.(2)close-to-nature management can increase the herb diversity and abundance and reduce the evenness of different forests. The Shannon-Wiener index(SH)of the mid-aged Pinus tabulaeformis forest under close-to-nature management was significantly higher than that of no management. The herb Pielou index(PL)of the near-mature forest under no management was significantly higher than that of close-to-nature management.Margalef richness index(MR)of artificial middle-aged Larix rincipis-rupprechtii forest under close-to-nature management was significantly higher than that of no management, and the Pielou evenness index of near-mature Betula platyphylla forest was significantly higher than that of close-to-nature management.(3)From the Pearson correlation analysis between the herb species diversity index and the soil and litter properties. In the young Larix rincipis-rupprechtii forest, there was a significant positive correlation and extremely significant negative correlation respectively between Pielou index and the 10-20cm soil bulk density, soil maximum water holding capacity. In the mid-aged Betula platyphylla forest, herb Pielou index were significant negative and positive correlated with the 10-20cm soil bulk density and the 10-20cm soil maximum water holding capacity respectively,In the near-mature Pinus tabulaeformis forest, the Pielou index and Simpson index(SM)of the herbaceous was negative correlated with the semi-decomposed litter biomass. The 10-20cm soil capillary porosity was extremely negative correlated with the herb Pielou index.Comprehensive the above results, understand the change of the understory plant species diversity under the different mode of management, provide theoretical basis for the choice of the ways of forest management in north China... |
