Light green roof planting has the advantages of low cost,extensive management and so on,it has been popularized in large area in the Southern China area.However,but the choice of varieties of light roof greening plants is single,which affect the sustainable development of the green roof seriously.In order to enrich the diversity and stability of light roof greening plant varieties in the Southern China area,this paper based on the site condition of the roof in Southern China area.On the basis of the observation of the introduction of the wild Commelinaceae plants,and then take Murdannia loriformis(Hassk.)Rolla Rao et Kammathy?Murdannia simplex(Vahl)Brenan?Belosynapsis ciliata Bl.var.Guo and Belosynapsis ciliata(Bl.)Rolla Rao four kinds of Commelinaceae plants as experimental materials,Through indoor controlled watering experiment,The effects of watering with different cycles treatments on the growth of four Commelinaceae plants were studied.By measuring the parameters of drought resistance and heat resistance,further to comprehensive evaluation of drought resistance and heat tolerance of four Commelinaceae plants,so as to provide a theoretical basis for its application in roof greening in Southern China area.The main results are as follows:1.By controlled watering test for about 8 weeks,discussed and analyzed the effects of watering with different cycles treatments on plant height,aboveground and belowground biomass accumulation of four Commelinaceae plants,and then by using root scanner and analysis software,the total root length,surface area,average diameter and root tip the number of morphological parameters were analyzed.The results show that the treatment of watering a shorter cycle(2DIW and 6DIW)the faster the root biomass accumulation,root volume increased;water cycle longer treatment(10DIW and 15DIW)slowed the plant root biomass accumulation,plant growth out a small amount of root.The change of root is benefit to plant in the soil is thin ridge,the growth of water conditions extremely unstable roof environment.That shows when Commelinaceae plants are used in roof greening,watering should not be too frequent during.The use of appropriate inadequate water management to ensure good water status and biomass accumulation2.After the plant growth and morphology experiment,use the plants which have been treat by difffferent water cycles to do drought stress experiment last for nearly a month,determination leaf water content of plant,chlorophyll content,MDA content,root activity and other physiological and biochemical indexes,and studied out the effect of watering treatment in different cycles of four the drought resistance of plants.The results show that ?1 the inadequate watering,plants under management(6DIW and 10DIW)showed a more stable physiological activity and better drought resistance under severe drought conditions,and in the management of frequent watering(2DIW)treatment and watering cycle(15DIW)response of four plants in physiology under drought stress are more severe,showed poor drought resistance;?2 watering short period(2DIW)of the plant root size is larger,when the sustained drought at the table The root activity is also relatively poor,poor adaptability and tolerance to drought;but watering the longest period(15DIW)of the plant has a small amount of root,root activity was high,but continued to decline under drought stress is the highest,indicating that the drought tolerance is not stable.Maintain a moderate watering in 4 during the mayacaceae plant planting(6DIW~10DIW)to ensure that the plant has a strong stable root vigor and drought resistance.?3 By the method of membership function of 4 kinds of plants under drought stress on the physiological and biochemical index of comprehensive evaluation of the drought resistance of order: Belosynapsis ciliata Bl.var.Guo > Murdannia simplex(Vahl)Brenan > Murdannia loriformis(Hassk.)Rolla Rao et Kammathy > Belosynapsis ciliata(Bl.)Rolla Rao.3.By high temperature treatment of four plants under different watering cycles,and ascertain the half lethal temperature LT50 according to the inflection point of Logistic,results showed that the high temperature inflection point,four plants of half lethal temperature were: Murdannia loriformis(Hassk.)Rolla Rao et Kammathy(2DIW is 60.55,6DIW is 60.66,10 DIW is 61.82,15 DIW is 61.16);Murdannia simplex(Vahl)Brenan(2DIW is 63.88,6DIW is 64.69,10 DIW is 63.34,15 DIW is 62.76)Belosynapsis ciliata Bl.var.Guo(2DIW is 60.84,6DIW is 60.21,10 DIW is 59.21,15 DIW is 57.54)Belosynapsis ciliata(Bl.)Rolla Rao(2DIW is 58.24,6DIW is 58.09,10 DIW is 59.63,15 DIW is 57.80).Ultimately determine the Thermotolerance of order 4 mayacaceae plants for penny: Murdannia simplex(Vahl)Brenan > Murdannia loriformis(Hassk.)Rolla Rao et Kammathy > Belosynapsis ciliata Bl.var.Guo > Belosynapsis ciliata(Bl.)Rolla Rao.At the same time,according to the test in the same plant shorter watering cycle(2DIW)and longer watering cycle(15DIW),their heat resistance was not as expected,indicating that the appropriate non full watering(6DIW~10DIW)may be beneficial to the plant to maintain a more stable heat resistance.
