| Every leap in animal husbandry is accompanied by a technological innovation.Rapid as the development of animal husbandry is,the problems of China’s pasture farming system are exposed.Although China has become the third largest dairy production countries,the problems still exist,such as the shortage of cattle,the backward in pasture management mode,the substandard in the supply amount of dairy product.At present,most large-scale farms in China introduce foreign advanced equipment to monitor the ruminant behavior,but its technology has been monopolized and the costs are very high.For this purpose,considering the actual needs of China’s dairy industry,this paper studies the testing equipment of cattle’s ruminant behavior.This equipment can achieve the benefits of low cost,and the automatic testing of cattle’s ruminant behavior.Therefore,we can know the conditions of dairy cows’ estrus and physical health,and reduce the manpower and material resources of the pastures to improve the work efficiency of pastures and increase the profits.First,the overall design plan on the testing equipment of the cattle’s ruminant behavior is put forward,mainly including the design needs,functional analysis,overall design and operating principle.Meanwhile,we have designed the anti-interference performance of the equipment,and make a feasibility analysis of the equipment in terms of technical feasibility and economic feasibility.In addition,the detailed plan of the hardware system for the testing equipment of the dairy cow’s ruminant behavior is designed.The MSP430F149 single chip microcomputer is used as the main processor of the device.The LM386 sound sensor collects the sound signal of the rumination and ingestion of the cow and designs the signal procession module for the device.The field signal tube high input impedance differential amplifier is used to amplify the sound signal,and the second-order active band pass filter is used to smooth the sound signal,and the mocro SDHC UHS-l memory card is used to store information.The ruminations mostly occur at night and are not disturbed by external interference,so the data transmission module based on Zig Bee wireless transmission is chosen.The RFID radio-frequency technique is used to identify the identity of dairy cows.With the principle of low power consumption,the device’s way of power supply design is comprehensively analyzed.Finally,we choose the lithium battery to supply power to equipment.Finally,the ruminant voice recognition algorithm of dairy cows is designed and then transplanted into dairy cows’ individual rumination testing equipment to perform simulation experiments.The characteristics of the sound spectrum of rumination and indigestion behavior of dairy cows are analyzed by Cool Edit Pro software,primarily concluding the characteristic changes of sound spectrum by dairy cows’ rumination.In the design process of the voice recognition algorithm of dairy cows’ rumination,the pre-emphasis and hamming window are used to preprocess the sound signal and obtain the short-term average energy of the sound signal and the short-term average zero-crossing rate.Then the application of LPCC cepstrum coefficient is used to extract the ruminant sound spectrum of dairy cow,concluding the sound frequency of dairy cow rumination is about 400Hz-1KHz.This algorithm is transplanted into dairy cows’ individual rumination behavior testing equipment.By comparison,it is found that the algorithm can effectively detect the ruminant behavior of dairy cows,the reliability being high.Due to the limit of time,environment and experimental conditions,the recording equipment is used to collect the same cow’s sound of rumination and ingestion for 5 consecutive days at farm and the equipment is used to make a simulation test for recording equipment for 5 rounds of 5 days each dairy cow’s rumination.The experimental results show that the device has stable performance,high reliability and accuracy of 90%,which can be used to detect the ruminant behavior effectively.In summary,the dairy cows’ ruminant behavior testing equipment in this paper has the function of detecting ruminant behavior,measuring the ruminant time and data wireless transmission.The embedded,single-chip,sensor,wireless transmission technology are applied to achieve automation,intelligence,informative monitoring of cow ruminant behavior and to provide support for the rapid development of China’s animal husbandry.This device realize the advantages of low cost,easy operation,high precision and good stability,and has an guiding impact on the diary cows’ health status of dairy cows and estrus situations. |
