Rice was one of the most important food crops and was the staple food of about half population in the world.With the increase of population,the area of cultivated land had been reduced,and the question of grain security has been attention.The Chinese rice of cultivation area accounts for about 28% of Chinese arable land,these cultivation area can produce 40% of the food nearly,so the high and stable yield rice was particularly important for food security issues.Chinese large population,and was a large food consumption.In order to protect grain security,cultivate high and stable rice was essential.The Founder Parent was parent material with many excellent characteristics and excellent combining ability.It can provide a theoretical basis for rice breeding,thereby improve the efficiency of rice breeding.In order to protect the high yield and stable yield of rice,it was necessary to study the Founder Parent of rice.Cold damage was a common problem in the world,and in the rice region around the country have different degrees of occurrence.the annual reduction of rice 30~50 billion kg.The frequency and strength of chilling injury is the hightest in Heilongjiang province.and the yield reduce more than 20% directly in the year of chilling injury.Therefore,it is very important to study the cold tolerance of rice cultivars,dig the cold tolerance genes,reduce the rice chilling injury and improve the rice yield in Heilongjiang Province.In this study,The Founder Parent of Heilongjiang,Ishikari-shirog,Xiayi,Shangyu397,Fushiguang and Thengxi138 and derived varieties as test material,the genetic contribution and frequency analysis were analyzed by 128 SSR,Parsing transmission frequency that important loci in the derived varieties.And dig the new cold tolerance genetic loci through association analysis.shown the elucidate of genetic mechanism in the Founder Parent in Heilongjiang Province,providing theoretical basis and material basis for rice cold tolerance molecular assisted breeding.The main result of this study are as follows:(1)SSR analyzed for 156 materials of Ishikari-shirog,Xiayii,Shang Yu397,Fu Shiguang and Teng Xi138 and its derived offspring.Showed that six SSR loci such as RM556 were found in Ishikari-shirog,Genetic contribution more than 80%,RM84 and other sixteen sites,the transmission frequency more than 50% in the seven generations.RM331 and other four sites,the genetic contribution rate more than 80% in the Xiayi,RM1279 and other eleven sites,the transmission frequency were more than 50% in the six generations.RM109,RM1279,RM536,RM246,RM170 and RM480 were highly transmitted in the offspring of the five Founder Parent,and above sites were highly valuable in rice breeding in Heilongjiang Province.(2)QTLs were located near high frequency transmission SSR loci that were important traits such as yield,stress resistance and quality,and RM213 was associated with rice blast resistance,seedling height and drought tolerance simultaneously.RM331 was associated with cold tolerance,The booting stage of cold tolerance,drought tolerance and yield-related traits related simultaneously.these SSR loci as important genome segments in the derived offspring.It may be the leading cause that Ishikari-shirog,Xiayi,Shangyu397,Fushiguang and Thengxi138 been The Founder Parent.(3)Cold water treatment the tested materials in booting stage two years,showed that the Ishikari-shirog,Xiayi,Shangyu397 and Tengxi138 had high seed setting rate,Strong cold water stress,But Fu Shiguang had weak cold water stress.the cold water stress had a great influence in booting stage;therein the yield per plant and the seed setting rate were highly significant.These study showed that the cold water stress in the booting stage had a different effect on the yield and seed setting rate.(4)The yield per plant was highly significantly positively correlated with all traits under cold water treatment in booting stage.The seed setting rate was highly significantly positively correlated with the yield per plant,and it was significant negative correlation.(5)The total genome correlation analysis of cold tolerance and SSR marker was carried out by the general linear model(GLM)and mixed linear model(MLM)of TASSEL3.0 software.In the two years,RM84,RM584,RM589,RM242 and so on were detected,There were 10 loci consistent with predecessors,and the rest of locis were new found.(6)the different periods cold tolerance QTL were Detected near by RM109 and six high frequency transmission loci in the rice.RM84 and RM170 were the new loci associated with cold tolerance in this study,and they were high frequency relay in the derived offspring.The results showed that the cold tolerance gene locus was an important genome segment for the Founder Parent and their derivatives in Heilongjiang Province,which were widely selected and utilized.
