The phenomenon of water and soil loss in the stream basin is not optimistic.Overall,with serious loss the special distribution is not uniform,so it's very important to monitor and analyze water and soil conservancy of river basin.Rivers concern all aspects of human life.As dynamic and complicated ecosystem,rivers provide services for people's life and production in parts of ecology and economy.Rivers have relations to the economic development,cultural inheritance and social harmony.Rapid population growth results in increasingly tense water and land resources.The river ecosystem is deteriorating day by day and it becomes one of the most threatened ecosystems around the world.Natural and human's factors will destroy the land and the ground plants,dropping the ability of water and soil conservation and aggravating soil erosion.Yongdingxinhe River in the north of Tianjin is the common plunge point of Yongding River,Beiyun River,Jiyun River and Chaobaixin River.Even though it plays an important role,it still has problems causing attentions.The overall situation of soil and water loss in the basin is not serious,and the problems should be studied as references of the soil erosion control in basins.This thesis took Yongdingxinhe river basin in Tianjin as study case to and monitor and analyze the water and soil conservancy for the entire area.The research contents include as follows:(1)According to the research status in the art of water and soil erosion worldwide,the methods for determining soil and water loss in Yongdingxinhe river basin were adopted,to make the research effective.(2)The scale and status of Yongdingxinhe river basin are analyzed and the original data of soil and water loss in the basin are summarized regularly,from which,the necessity and urgency of this research are concluded.(3)With arrangement of experiment in Yongdingxinhe river basin,according to the different characteristics of different regions,different experimental programs can be taken,including erosion channel observation method ? slope topography measurement and chain pin method.(4)After analyzing the monitoring data,the reasons of soil and water loss can be analyzed on the basis of status of soil and water loss in Yongdingxinhe river basin to provide reference for the prevention and control of water and soil loss.(5)The phenomenon of soil and water loss in Yongdingxinhe river basin has regional characteristics and the study areas can be distinguished with different features to make the research more scientific and systematic.The erosion types,including water erosion,wind erosion,complex erosion,engineering erosion and other erosions,exist in Yongdinghe basin,which mainly dominated by water erosion.Although overall Yongdingxinhe basin water and soil erosion is not intensity,it will deepen soil erosion issue if no attention be paid to this situation,resulting in more serious threat of the soil erosion.
