| For optimizing the attractive effectiveness of protein bait to Bactrocera tau and Bactrocera cucurbitae, the seven volatile components extracted from protein bait(octyl acetate, phenethyl acetate, ethyl caprylate, benzyl cyanide, phenylethyl alcohol,3-methyl-1-butanol and benzaldehyde)that can drive strong electroantennogram(EAG)responses to these two fruit flies were added in the protein bait and tested at different concentration and at different combinations. The attractive effects of different treatments of protein bait to B.tau and B.cucurbitae at different stages were verified indoor and outdoor. The main results were as follows:(1)The attractive effects of single volatile to B.tau were analyzed at three different stages indoor. The results showed that 20%concentration of benzaldehyde,20%concentration of 3-methyl-1-butanol and 20%concentration of 3-methyl-l-butanol can attracte most B.tau before mating, after mating and after oviposition individually, the attractive percentages reached at 70.6%,56.8%,66.0%,increasing by 18.2%,16.6%,21.0%respectively.Moreover,the attractive percentages of female were 60.8%,54.8%,62.8%,increasing by 15.6%,19.2%,23.2%while compared to control respectively.(2)The attractive effects of protein bait mixed with three volatiles to B.tau were analyzed at three different stages indoor. The results showed that the protein bait with mixture, containing octyl acetate,ben2aldehyde and 3-methyl-1-butanol(20%,25%,25%,v/v,Ⅰ),(30%,30%,25%,v/v,Ⅱ),(30%,25%,20%,v/v,Ⅲ)have the best attraction to B.tau, the attractive percentages reached at 69.6%,62.4%,69.4%,increasing by 17.2%,22.2%,22.4%with comparion to control respectively. Moreover, the attractive percentages of female were 62.4%,58.8%,60.8%,increasing by 17.2%,23.2%,21.2%while compared to control respectively.(3)The attractive effects of single volatile to B.cucurbitae were analyzed at three different stages indoor. The results showed that 30%concentration of phenethyl acetate,20%concentration of octyl acetate and 30%concentration of phenylethyl alcohol can attracte most B.cucurbitae before mating, after mating and after oviposition individually, the attractive percentages reached at 68.4%,57.2%,65.2%,increasing by 14.6%,12.0%,13.0%respectively.Moreover,the attractive percentages of female were 61.2%,50.8%,57.2%,increasing by 14.4%,16.0%,11.6%while compared to control respectively.(4)The attractive effects of protein bait mixed with three volatiles to B.cucurbitae were analyzed at three different stages indoor. The results showed that the protein bait with mixture, containing octyl acetate, phenylethyl alcohol and phenethyl acetate(20%,30%,30%,v/v,Ⅰ),(25%,25%,30%,v/v,Ⅱ),(20%,20%,20%,v/v,Ⅲ)have the best attraction to B.cucurbitae, the attractive percentages reached at 72.6%,63.4%,71.2%,increasing by 18.8%,18.2%,19.0%with comparion to control respectively. Moreover, the attractive percentages of female were 62.8%,57.2%,61.2%,increasing by 16.0%,22.4%,15.6%while compared to control respectively.(5)The bioassays of B.tau were inspected outdoor. The results showed that the combination, containing 2mL protein bait mixed with 150ul 20%octyl acetate,25%benzaldehyde and 25%3-methyl-1-butanol,can attract most B.tau before mating;the combination, containing 2mL protein bait mixed with 150ul 30%octyl acetate,30%benzaldehyde and 25%3-methyl-1-butanol,can attract most B.tau after mating;the combination, containing 2mL protein bait mixed with 150ul 30%octyl acetate,25%benzaldehyde and 20%3-methyl-1-butanol,can attract most B.tau after oviposition.(6)The bioassays of B.cucurbitae were inspected outdoor. The results showed that the combination, containing 2mL protein bait mixed with 150ul 20%octyl acetate,30%phenylethyl alcohol and 30%phenethyl acetate, can attract most B.tau before mating;the combination, containing 2mL protein bait mixed with 150ul 25%octyl acetate,25%phenylethyl alcohol and 30%phenethyl acetate, can attract most B.tau after mating;the combination, containing 2mL protein bait mixed with 150ul 20%octyl acetate,20%phenylethyl alcohol and 20%phenethyl acetate, can attract most B.tau after ovipositon. |
