Rice is not only one of the world's most important food crops,but also a biological model of plants.With the development of rice research,there is a preliminary understanding of the regulation mechanism of rice yield,rice grain shape and chalkiness.Now in addition to meet the needs of the consumers on rice yield,better appearance quality and cooking and eating quality of rice varieties is more and more get the favour of consumers.In this study,the quantitative trait loci(QTL),which controls grain length,grain width,1000-grain weight and white belly rate,was identified by SSR markers using F2 and F2: 3 populations derived from R287/ZZ 35 hybridization.The QTL of qGL1 a,qGL1b,qGL3 and qGL7 were detected on the chromosomes 1,3 and 7,respectively,by analyzing the phenotypic analysis of the population in 2015 and 2016 for two years.The qGL1 b,located between RM493-RM488,and qGL3,located between rm7576-rm251,have been detected for two years.Indicating that the stability of these two sites is better.Explained 4.03%,7.27% and 9.26%,11.69% of phenotypic variance.The QTL of qGW1 a,qGW1b,qGW2 and qGW5 were detected on the chromosomes 1,2 and 5 respectively,and the qGW5 located between RM413 and RM405 was impotent,explained 23.99% of phenotypic variance.The QTL of qTGW1 a,qTGW1b,qTGW3,qTGW4 a,qTGW4b and qTGW5 were detected on the 1st,3rd,4th and 5th chromosomes 1?3?4and5 respectively,and explained 0.30%-14.68% of phenotypic variance.A total of 11 QTL for controlling chalkiness were detected in two years,respectively,on chromosomes 1,2,3,5 and 6,qWBR1 a located between RM575-RM493,q WBR3 a located between RM569-RM3392 and qWBR5 located between RM413-RM405,these 3 QTL were detected at two years.qWBR1 a explained 0.13% and 11.23% phenotypic variance at two years,qWBR3 a explained 7.01% and 4.45% phenotypic variance at two years,qWBR5 explained 11.64% and 11.52% phenotypic variance at two years.A total of 4 QTL for controlling the length width rate were detected in two years,respectively,on the chromosomes 1 ? 3 and 11,where QTL qLWR3 located on chromosome 3 were detected at two years and explained 7.04%-14.21% phenotypic variance.These QTL related to grain shape,grain weight and chalkiness traits provide a theoretical basis for genetic improvement of appearance quality and yield of rice.
