The Effects Of Straw Returning On Soil Properties And Yield Of Maize

In order to find out the effect of the interval time of returning straw to field and nitrogen fertilizer on soil properties and maize yield,the experiment was on the brown soil in Liaoning province in 2015 with the treatments of no straw returning,straw returning every other year,straw returning year after year,and straw returning year after year with filling nitrogen.The results shown that:(1)In the first year comparing with none straw returning,straw returning and returning with filling nitrogen had no effect on soil physical properties.The result in very five years straw returning had a great improvement with soil bulk density,soil porosity and field capacity.Returning straw every years was better than every other year,and supplement nitrogen had a big effect in results.(2)In the first and fifth year straw returning both had a increase in soil available nitrogen,available phosphorus,potassium content,returning every year is better than returning with every other year in the increase of above characters and with nitrogen added the results getting much better.With no straw returning there was not a remarkable different with the first year and fifth year.(3)Though straw returnng have an increasing trend in corn production and corn kernel weight,but not remarkable,returning in the fifth year had a great improvement in corn production and corn kernel weight,the range of increasing corn production and corn kernel weight partly ranged 3.07%?11.69%and 1.41%?5.20%.Straw returning in every and every other year which had a little effect in corn production and corn kernel weight,but with the adding of nitrogenous fertilizer,it had a great improvement in above part,witch the-corn production added 5.51%,and corn kernel weight added 3.65%.Straw returning every year and every other year and straw returning year after year and filling nitrogen had no effect in on corn maize seed yield.(4)the The result of this test had showed straw returning was an appropriate way to prove soil nutrient,soil physical properties and corn production,but according to the test we can see that there would be a long and constantly deal,also need a suitable amounts of nitrogen to reach a good effect.
