| Functional diversity and functional traits are more and more important to the functional attributes of grassland ecosystems.Mowing is one of the important measures for grassland management. Therefore, six kinds of mowing systems(mowing times)were set up,and seven functional traits of dominant species were selected to calculate the four indices of function richness, functional uniformity, functional dispersion and Rao quadratic entropy. The effects of functional diversity and functional diversity on the functional traits and functional diversity of the dominant species of Stipa grandis in Inner Mongolia, and the relationship between functional diversity index and primary productivity.conclusion as below:1)The mowing significantly increased the species’s evenness index and diversity index, but had no significant effect on the abundance index.(2)The frequency of plant height, leaf area, and bark of dominant species of Stipa grandis grassland were significantly decreased.(3)The cutting system did not affect the functional abundance(FRic)of the plant community. The functional evenness index(FEve)reached the highest and the resource utilization equilibrium was the highest at the cutting frequency of one year. The functional dispersion(FDiv)index reaches the highest value and the niche overlap effect is the weakest under the cutting system of the two years. The Rao quadratic entropy function(twice a year)<Rao quadratic entropy function(Cut two years off a year),a year cut twice the mowing system of functional traits similar to the degree of cut less than two years off the mowing system, the increase in cutting frequency will reduce the degree of species convergence;(4)There was no significant correlation between functional abundance and functional uniformity and primary productivity.Rao quadratic entropy function and functional dispersion index are significantly correlated with primary productivity. The similarity of plant functional traits and the decrease of niche overlap affect the primary productivity of the community. |
