Bactrocera dorsalis(Hendel)is one of the most devastating pests.Protein bait is one of environmental friendly biocontrol methods for controlling fruit fly,its attractiveness is the key of preventing B.dorsalis.Optimizing the effectiveness of protein bait is meaningful for application in field and product marketization.The attractiveness of octyl acetate,phenylethyl acetate,ethyl caprylate,ammonium acetate,ammonium carbonate,ammonium acid carbonate,putrescine,and trimethylamine to B.dorsalis at different stages were investigated both indoor and outdoor;furthermore,the attractiveness of four kinds of selected components mixed with protein bait to B.dorsalis at different stages were tested both indoor and outdoor respectively;last,the attractiveness of three kinds of selected components mixed with protein bait to B.dorsalis at different stages were surveyed both indoor and outdoor by orthogonal test respectively.The main results of the research were as follow:(1)The attractiveness of eight kinds of components to B.dorsalis at different stages were investigated both indoor and outdoor.These eight kinds of components both have attractiveness to B.dorsalis at different stages indoor and outdoor,the effectiveness indoor have no significant difference to outdoor.However,different kinds of components have different effectiveness.Different concentrations of component have different effectiveness.The effectiveness of single component at same concentration has no obvious difference to B.dorsalis at different stages.The attractiveness of octyl acetate,phenylethyl acetate,ethyl caprylate,ammonium acetate,ammonium carbonate,and ammonium acid carbonate have a distinct attractiveness to B.dorsalis at different stages.The best concentration of these six kinds of components for attracting B.dorsalis at 3-day were 150?L/mL,150?L/mL,150?L/mL,30mg/mL,30mg/mL,40mg/mL,the attractive percentage of fruit fly were 58.9%,60.4%,59.8%,46.7%,44.6%,50.3%,respectively;the best concentration of these six kinds of components for attracting B.dorsalis at 7-day were 200?L/mL,150?L/mL,150pL/mL,30mg/mL,30mg/mL?40mg/mL,the attractive percentage of fruit fly were 62.8%,64.7%,67.6%,52.2%,50.6%,54.1%,respectively;the best concentration of these six kinds of components for attracting B.dorsalis at 11-day were 200?L/mL,200?L/mL,150?L/mL,30mg/mL,30mg/mL,40mg/mL,the attractive percentage of fruit fly were 63.0%,64.6%,66.8%,52.4%?51.7%,53.8%,respectively;the putrescine and trimethylamine attracted least B.dorsalis,the attractive percentage were about 11%.(2)The attractiveness of four kinds of selected components mixed with protein bait respectively to B.dorsalis at different stages were tested both indoor and outdoor.phenylethyl acetate ammonium acid carbonate,putrescine,and trimethylamine mixed with protein bait both have good attractiveness to B.dorsalis at different stages indoor and outdoor,while significantly higher than control(mixed with water).The best concentration of these four kinds of components for attracting B.dorsalis at 3-day were 150?L/mL,40mg/mL,0.1?L/mL,0.1?L/mL,the attractive percentage of fruit fly were 60.0%,58.6%,55.4%,57.4%;the best concentration of these four kinds of components for attracting B.dorsalis at 7-day were 150?L/mL,40mg/mL,0.1?L/mL,0.1?L/mL,the attractive percentage of fruit fly were 68.5%,62.9%,59.4%,63.4%;the best concentration of these four kinds of components for attracting B.dorsalis at 11-day were 150?L/mL,40mg/mL,0.1?L/mL,0.1?L/mL,the attractive percentage of fruit fly were 64.2%,58.7%,57.4%,59.4%.(3)The attractiveness of three kinds of selected components(phenylethyl acetate(B),ammonium acid carbonate(C),putrescine(D))mixed with protein bait(A)to B.dorsalis at different stages were surveyed indoor by orthogonal test respectively.Every combination has significant attractiveness to 7-day B.dorsalis,both attractive percentages were above 60%.The primary-secondary sequence of the components that affecting the attractiveness to 7-day B.dorsalis female was phenylethyl acetate>putrescine>ammonium acid carbonate>protein bait,the best combination was A2B3C3D2.The primary-secondary sequence of the components that affecting the attractiveness to 7-day B.dorsalis male was phenylethyl acetate>putrescine>protein bait>ammonium acid carbonate,the best combination was A2B2C3D2.The primary-secondary sequence of the components that affecting the attractiveness to 7-day B.dorsalis male and female was phenylethyl acetate>ammonium acid carbonate>protein bait>putrescine,the best combination was A2B3C2D2.A2B2C2D2 have the most practical significance in attracting B.dorsalis,the attractive percentage of B.dorsalis at 3-day,7 day,11-day reached 62.7%,67.0%,64.6%,respectively.
