Effect Of "Kangyu" On The SIgA Level In Colostrum Of PED Vaccinated Sow

Mucosal immune(sIgA)is the mainly part of PEDV immune and the level of maternal sIgA have influence on the capacity which piglets resist PEDV infection.Therefore,the present study choose sIgA as the mainly index to investigate the influence of kangyu on immune effect of inactivated and attenuated PED vaccine.Our experiment was divided into two parts:part I,41 pregnancy sow were divided into blank control group(n=15),kangyu treatment group(n=15),oral immune group(n=11).All the pregnancy sow were injected attenuated PED vaccine(ZhuFuKang)through houhai acupuncture point at prenatal 40 d and 20 d.Part II,30 pregnancy sow were divided into blank control group(n=15),kangyu treatment group(n=15),all the pregnancy sow were injected dahua agricultural porcine epidemic,diarrhea and contagion enterogastrtisetc duplex inactivated vaccines through houhai acupuncture point at prenatal 40 d.Then we collect the serum and colostrum of sows when delivery,and detect the sIgA levels in serum and colostrum.The kangyu significantly increased the PED attenuated vaccine immune colostrum sIgA levels and positive rate by experiment one.It was further proved by experiment two that kangyu can significantly increase the positive rate of sIgA in the immunized sows of PED inactivated vaccine.Results:The kangyu significantly increased the sIgA levels and positive rate in the sow colostrum,but showed no significantly influence on serum sIgA.Besides,kangyu could strengthen the immune effect of inactivated and attenuated PED vaccine.
