Sooty blotch and flyspeck is a widespread plant disease which prefer to occur in high temperature area and relatively moist place. The pathogen often parasitic on apple, plum, persimmon, orange, banana and other host plants, and formed black spots or seam in the host surface, which reduce the value of ornamental and damage the fruit appearance, resulting the losses to growers. In this study,we classify and identify the pathogen of the Sooty Blotch of apple, plum and orange fruits in Shaanxi and Guizhou. The main results are described as follows:1.A total of 159 specimens were collected.Among them, there were 109 samples from apple peel, and 20 pieces samples were obtained orange, and the samples of plums were divided into 30 parts. We obtained 97 pure cultures in total, thenselectsome representative strains based on morphology and phylogeny analysis.Theseisolateswere belonged to 8 generaincluding Peltaster,Strelitziana,Houjia,Pseudoveronaea,Trichomerium,Wallemia,Zasmidium-like,and Sterile mycelia.2.We isolated 97 pure cultures in totalstrains.Sterile mycelia had 57 strains, with 58.7% of the total strain numbers, were found from Shaanxi provinces;mainly from Shaanxi,Wallemia,Peltaster,Strelitziana and Zasmidium-like had 14 strains,10 strains,6 strains and 5 strains, respectively, occupying 14.4%,10.3%,6.2% and 5.2% of the total strain number. The Wallemia was isolated from the city of Kaili in Guizhou Province, and the Peltaster,Strelitziana and Zasmidium-like were isolated from the provinces of Shaanxi province.Trichomerium,Houjia andPseudoveronaea, there were 3 strains,1 strains and 1 strains,respectively,occupying2.1%,1.05% and 1.05% of the total strain number, and were isolated from Shaanxi province.3.Through the study of the morphological characteristics and ITS,LSU sequence analysis,5 species(Strelitziana,Houjia,Trichomerium,Wallemia,Zasmidium-like)were identified and described,1 new species in Strelitziana,Strelitziana qianxianensis;1 new species in Houjia,Houjia qianxianensis;1 new species in Trichomerium,Trichomerium qinlingensis;2 new species in Wallemia,Wallemia kailiensis,Wallemia pruni;1 new species in Zasmidium-like,Zasmidium qianxianensis;1 new record in Wallemia,Wallemia mellicola;Sterile mycelia sp.CN.
