In this study,the plants of Artocarpus ntidus subsp were studied on the tissue culture the seeds and one-year stem as the explant materials to determined the main factors of its rapid propagation for the effective ways of establishing the propagated system and the resolution of the slow propagation,which will provide the theoretical and technical basis for large-scale production and application.The main results were as following:1.The seed explants of Artocarpus ntidus subsp sterilized with 1‰mercuric chloride for 15 mins were better,the pollution rate was 10.00%.The stem explants of Artocarpus ntidus subsp sterilized with 1‰ mercuric chloride for 12 mins were also better,the pollution rate was 23.33%.2.The sterile buds induced from seed explants of Artocarpus ntidus subsp was better than that from stem explants,the suitable bud-inducedmediumfrom seeds was MS+6-BA0.8mg/L+NAA0.3mg/L,the differentiation rate could achieve 97.50%.3.The medium with L-Cysteine can better control the browning pheno menon in the propagation,the suitable medium of the propagation was MS+6-BA0.6mg/L+NAA0.2-0.3mg/L+L-Cysteinel 5mg/L,the buds multiplicat-ion could achieve 4.16 times.4.1/4MS medium was the optimal basic medium in root induction,the suitable medium of the rooting was 1/4MS+ABT0.4mg/L+IBA0.2mg/L,the rooting rates reached 92.88%,the average root number was 4.07.5.The suitable transplantation matrix was yellow soil + peat soil(2:1),the survival rates could reach 91.00%,and this matrix was conducive to the growth of seedings after transplantation.
