Along with the development of modern agriculture,agricultural cultivation technology requirements gradually increase.The worldwide weather is unpredictable in recent years,with frequency of extreme weather increasing.To strengthen the cultivation of rice seedlings technology and management can reduce the risk of peasant's cultivation and improve the efficiency of rice cultivation,which is important to guide the current field of rice cultivation and production.Moreover,in recent years,as the increase of the use and development of machine planting technology all over the country,the most important base of the cultivation process is the problem of rice machine seedlings.As a result,the effect of spectrum and light on rice seedling quality has a vital role.The main purpose of this study is to regulate the growth and quality of rice seedlings by LEDs.Using a japonica rice cultivars Ningjing 3,laboratory experiments were done to study the growth and quality of rice seedlings under different LED spectrum and the feasibility and popularization of field planting machine.The main results were as follows:(1)Different LED spectrums have significant effects on the qualities of rice.Compared with other treatments,stem diameter,fresh weight,chlorophyll b,NPK and soluble protein content of rice seedlings under RBG treatment increase significantly,while root length,root number,soluble sugar content increase under BG treatment,and root dry weight and plant height under RG treatment.Rice seedling of GB treatment grown most slowly,and those of RGB treatment fastest.(2)LED spectrum affects the physical and chemical properties of rice seedlings significantly.the stem diameter,fresh weight,chlorophyll b,NPK content and soluble protein of rice seedlings by RGB treatment were higher than other treatments,while root length,root number and soluble sugar content higher by GB treatment,and.Root dry weight and plant height higher by RG treatment.(3)Different time of light have different effects on rice seedling quality.Plant height,stem diameter,root length,root number,dry weight,chlorophyll content,root activity,soluble sugar,nitrogen,shoot phosphorus and concentration of rice seedlings under 12 h/d is significantly higher than other treatments,while carotenoid and soluble protein content is significantly higher under 10 h/d,and root phosphorus and potassium content is significantly higher under 8 h/d.
