Rice is one of the three major food crops in the world.It is also the second maj or grain crops of China.With the rapid development of urbanization and industrializa tion,cultivated land area decreased continuously,Therefore,the cultivationof rice variet ies with higher yield and better quality can protect the substantial requirements of foo d security in China.Hybrid rice is a successful technology for rice production over the past four decades,in China,Hybrid indica rice accounts for 70%of total indica rice area,but only 5%is occupied by japonica hybrid rice.Japonica hybrid rice had more broad space for development,there are two questions should be solved:Impro ve competitive advantage and reduce the cost of F1 seed production.To improve male sterile line outcrossing traits.Improving the unit area yield of hybrid production is a n effective way to reduce the cost of F1 seed production of hybrid rice.In order to explore the traits relating to outcrossing the favorable alleles for outcrossing related t raits of male sterile line improvement.This study was carried out in two sets of inve stigations:(1).Construction cssl Of Zhendao 88 in Wuyujing 3 genetic background.Forming a set of 32 introgression lines consisting of WZSL group;(2)For this WZSL population,Using ANOVA and ICIM sorftware,QTLs underlying 8 outcrossing-relate d traits and 5 panicle traits were mapped.The results are summarized below.1.WZSL population was composed of 32 substitution lines,and covered 86.52%of Zhendao 88 genome.Among the 32 lines,three lines had two donor segments,eight lines had three donor segments,five lines had four donor segments,seven lin es had five donor segments,five lines had six donor segments,two lines had seven donor segments,one line had eight donor segments,only one line had one donor segment.8 populations have been identified in WZSL.The eight excellent breeding materials were WZSL01,WZSL02,WZSL06,WZSL10,WZSL20,WZSL21,WZSL23,WZSL27.Their Plant height,panicle length,flag leaf length,flag leaf width,top sec ond leaf length were extremely significantly higher than Wuyujing 3.2.14 QTLs have been finded in the WZSL population,including 9 QTLs of out crossing related traits,2 QTL of panicle traits and 3 QTLs of plangt height.Of the outcrossing related traits,SSR marker RM5639 located on the short arm of chromoso me 3 for qFA-3,the contributiong is 54.70%and the additive effect is 5.678cm.2 QT L for top second leaf width,RM5639 the same as qPW-3 is located in the short ar m of chromosome 3,the contribution rate is 77.91%,the additive effect is 0.120cm.T he other is RM6446 the same as qPW-6 located in the long arm of chromosome 6,the contribution rate is 17.54%,reducing effect is 0.129cm.2 QTL for the top seco nd leaf length,one is qPA-6 located in the long arm of chromosome 6 as the same with RM6446 which contributed 25.70%.Reducing effect of 10.26 cm.RM8265 at a nother site qPA-8 is located in the long arm of chromosome 8,which accounted for 14.10%,reducing the effect of 7.60cm.The top three leaf width is detected in 1 QT L,RM72 qTW-8 is located in the short arm of chromosome 8,the contribution rate i s 53.82%,the additive effect is 0.081cm.The top three leaf leaf length is detected in 2 QTL,RM5639 qTA-3 is located in the short arm of chromosome 3,the contribut ion rate is 27.65%,reducing effect of 10.17cm,RM8265 at another site qTA-8 is locat ed in the long arm of chromosome 8,which contributed for 15.52%,reducing effec t of 7.62cm.Panicle traits of 2 QTL,1 QTL for plant length,RM5639 qPL-3 is locat ed in the short arm of chromosome 3,the contribution rate is 44.36%,the additive e ffect was 1.85cm;the seed setting rate was detected in 1 QTL,RM346 qSS-7 is locat ed in the long arm of chromosome 7 which accounted for 46.02%,and additive effe ct of 0.036cm.The traits of plant height of 3 QTL,RM5639 qPH-3 is located in the s hort arm of chromosome 3,the contribution rate is 71.86%,the additive effect is 9.65 cm;SSR marker RM6446 qPH-6 is located in the long arm of chromosome 6,the co ntribution rate of 18.63%,reducing effect of 11.15cm;SSR marker RM8265 qPH-8 is lo cated in the long arm of chromosome 8.And the contribution rate of 8.63%,reducin g effect of 7.59cm.
