A Design Of New Type Remote Control Cable Yarding Carriages Based On Solidworks And AMESim | | Posted on:2017-03-11 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:D C Chen | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2323330512970544 | Subject:Forestry Engineering | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | The advanced cable yarding technology plays an important role in improving the production efficiency of forest thinning and selective cutting in steep hills and the realization of forest ecological harvesting.In order to solve the problem of complex cumbersome mechanism and poor maneuverability in the traditional cable yarding system,as the key technology in this paper,a new type of remote cable yarding carriage have been designed based on the fact of forestry production in southern China.The aim was to simplify the traditional three-rope cable yarding system into two-rope cable yarding system.With the requirements of two-rope cable yarding system on the carriage,the carriage in this design contained following main functions:1)the interlocking brake function between the skyline and the mainline;2)the remote control function;3)the lifting transport function.In order to achieve the above-mentioned functions,the overall plan of carriage in this paper was accomplished in aspects of the functional analysis and solving on the carriage,determined by the frame walking mechanism,the interlocking brake mechanism between the skyline and the mainline,lifting mechanism,hydraulic and remote control system and energy transformation mechanism.And then in the support of Solidworks and AMEsim,all the above-mentioned mechanisms and systems in accordance with the mechanical design specification had been rigorously designed in this paper.As a result of the design,the overall assembly drawing of the carriage had been designed and drew up in this paper.At the same time,the specific parameters and specifications of the hydraulic and remote control system components had been designed and confirmed.In order to ensure the reliability and rationality of the design scheme,the computer simulation software was utilized to analyze the machinery and hydraulic system of the carriage.The analysis results were listed as follows:(1)The parts which occurred assembly interference such as had been revised design through the interference analysis of carriage overall assembly digital model by Solidworks.(2)The finite element analysis of the carriage main bearing members such as the axle of front walking wheel had been studied by Solidworks simulation.The results showed that both the maximum stress and displacement could meet the carriage design requirements of strength and stiffness.(3)The motion simulation analysis of the skyline brake mechanism and the mainline brake mechanism by Solidworks motion had been studied,the results showed that these increasing force mechanism had obvious amplification on the braking force and could meet the requirement of carriage braking on the cable.(4)The dynamic analysis of the carriage hydraulic system by AMEsim had been studied and the results showed that the system pressure reaches the design threshold when the carriage walked about 155 meters,the maximum drag torque on the axle of front walking wheel(the input shaft of hydraulic power)was 1.15 N·m,which was less than the maximum torque 3.4 N-m that the shaft could output and the system pressure reduced to 11.38 MPa after two interlocking brake operation,which was more than the system nominal pressure 10 MPa.Besides the oil supply volume of the hydraulic system was 0.085 L,which was less than the maximum volume 0.141 L that the system could supply,thus,both the selection of hydraulic pump and accumulator could meet the requirements of interlocking brake pressure.Conclusion:The movement and control of the mechanisms and systems on the new type remote control cable yarding carriage were designed according to the functional requirements.The analysis by the computer simulation software verified the whole reasonable structure and the exact main parameters.It could achieve the design purpose. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | yarding carriage, cable, remote control, Solidworks, simulation, AMEsim, dynamic characteristics | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
