Ganoderma polysaccharide in Ganoderma lucidum has high medical value in disease prevention and treatment, indicating as functions of immunoregulation,anti-radiation,anti-aging,regulating blood sugar, etc.Since the difference of culturing environment, mode, and substrates exists and Ganoderma lucidum could enrich heavy metals, all these could lead to the heavy metals in Ganoderma lucidum fruiting bodies over national standard, which limits Ganoderma lucidum usage and brings negative impact on the development of Ganoderma lucidum industry. This investigation takes Ganoderma lucidum as experimental material, measures the contents of heavy metals and polysaccharide in fruiting body of Ganoderma lucidum under different culturing environment, mode and substrates. The safety assessment of Ganoderma lucidum from heavy mental point of view is also made.Meanwhile, the change of the heavy metal and polysaccharide in different growth stages and spores of Ganoderma lucidum fruiting body under GAP is carried out to explore. The main results is in following:1.Among 7 sources of total 280 Ganoderma lucidum samples, the average content of measured heavy metals in the cultivated condition could meet national limitation requirement. The average content of cadmium in wild Ganoderma lucidum from Hainan and the average content of mercury in wild Ganoderma lucidum from Tibet all exceed the national standard limitation.Mercury content in another 2 samples in wild Ganoderma lucidum from Jilin also exceeds the national standard requirement. After safety evaluation for above samples and based on single metal pollution factor,it is showed that the wild Ganoderma lucidum in Hainan and Tibet reached light pollution level. All measured heavy metals in these samples did not change significantly after cleaning.2.Using different culturing substrates did not change the heavy metal level in Ganoderma lucidum significantly under the manual cultivation environment.Under the GAP management mode, the heavy metal content in Ganoderma lucidum differs significantly at different developmental stages, and increases with ripening processing and decreases after the ejection of spores in fruiting bodies of Ganoderma lucidum. The heavy metal content in spores is higher than that in fruiting bodies.3.Polysaccharide content in 7 Ganoderma lucidum from different regions had significant difference. The average content of polysaccharide in wild Ganoderma lucidum was lower than that in the cultivated environmental condition.Different culturing substrates had severe effect on ganoderma polysaccharide, and log culturing substrate lead ganoderma polysaccharide to higher level than using succeeded cultivation.4.Polysaccharide amount in Ganoderma lucidum increases with the developmental and ripening progress, and the content in fruiting bodies increased to the highest before spore ejection, and then decreased remarkably after the end of spore ejection. The polysaccharide content in spores was higher than that in fruiting bodies after the ejection of spores, but was lower than that before spore ejection.
