In order to understand the distribution of main nuritent in tobacco-growing soils and its correlations in Xiangxi, the regional distribution characteristics of main soil nuritents and its correlations were analyzed by the ways of descriptive statistics, variance analysis and regressive analysis, collected 488 soil samples that soil pH, organic matter, alkaline hydrolytic nitrogen, available phosphorus and available potassium were detected. The results as follows:(1) Tobacco-growing soil pH:?Tobacco soil pH is generally suitable for tobacco cultivation with a mean of 5.86, amplitude of 3.87-7.25. ?The average soil pH from Guzhang, Yongshun,Huayuan,Fenghua,Luxi and Longshan were significantly greater than Guzhang. ?About 72.57% of the soil samples of pH is suitable for tobacco cultivation. ?The average soil pH from yellow ash soil, yellow ash mud and yellow-brown ash soil were significantly greater than paddy field. ?Soil pH was increasing with the rise of altitude.(2)Organic matter of tobacco-growing soil:?Organic matter contents of tobacco-growing soil is generally suitable for tobacco cultivation with a mean of 21.69g/kg, amplitude of 3.12 ? 62.97g/kg. ?The average content of soil organic matter from Yongshun,Huayuan were significantly greater than Fenghua,Baojing and Guzhang, that from Huayuan was significantly greater than Longshan.?About41.48% of the soil samples of organic matter contents is suitable for tobacco cultivation.?The average content of soil organic matter from paddy field and yellow-brown ash soil were significantly greater than red soil and yellow ash soil. ?The organic matter content of tobacco-growing soil was increasing with the rise of altitude.?The organic matter content of tobacco-growing soil was increasing with the rise of soil pH.(3) Alkaline hydrolytic nitrogen of tobacco-growing soil: ?Alkaline hydrolytic nitrogen contents of tobacco-growing soil is generally low for tobacco cultivation with a mean of 97.37mg/kg, amplitude of 10.80?209.41m g/kg. ?The average content of soil alkaline hydrolytic nitrogen from Baojing and Yongshun were significantly lower than Fenghua. (3)About27.16% of the soil samples of alkaline hydrolytic nitrogen contents is suitable for tobacco cultivation.?The average content of soil alkaline hydrolytic nitrogen from light yellow ash mud was significantly greater than red soil, lime soil, yellow ash soil; yellow ash soil, yellow soil, paddy field, yellow ash mud and yellow-brown ash soil. ?The alkaline hydrolytic nitrogen content of tobacco-growing soil was decreasing with the rise of soil pH. ?The alkaline hydrolytic nitrogen content of tobacco-growing soil was increasing with the rise of soil organic matter.(4) Available phosphorus of tobacco-growing soil:? Available phosphorus contents of tobacco-growing soil is generally high for tobacco cultivation with a mean of 35.35mg/kg, amplitude of 2.21?141.61m g/kg.?The average content of soil available phosphorus from Longshan was significantly greater than others.?About 25.93% of the soil samples of available phosphorus contents is suitable for tobacco cultivation. (4)The average content of soil available phosphorus from yellow-brown soil was significantly greater than paddy field, lime soil, red soil and red ash soil. ?The available phosphorus content of tobacco-growing soil was increasing with the rise of altitude.?The available phosphorus content of tobacco-growing soil was decreasing with the rise of soil pH. ?The correlation of soil available phosphorus with soil organic matter was quadratic curve.(5) Available potassium of tobacco-growing soil: ?Available potassium contents of tobacco-growing soil is generally suitable for tobacco cultivation with a mean of 183.68mg/kg, amplitude of 22.59?533.33mg/kg. ?The average content of soil available potassium from Yongshun and Longshan were significantly greater than Luxi,Huayuan,Fenghuang and Guzhang; the average content of soil available potassium from Fenghuang was significantly greater than Luxi. ?About27.10% of the soil samples of available potassium contents is suitable for tobacco cultivation.?The average content of soil available phosphorus from yellow-brown soil was significantly greater than others. ?The available potassium content of tobacco-growing soil was increasing with the rise of altitude. ?The available potassium content of tobacco-growing soil was decreasing with the rise of soil pH.?The available potassium content of tobacco-growing soil was increasing with the rise of soil organic matter.
