The purpose of current study was to evaluate the nutritional value of com coproduct used in Sichuan provience and to establish the feed nutritive value databases. The study included three parts. The aim of first section was to evaluate color (L*, a*, b*) and the chemical compositon (GE, DM, CP, EE, CF, NDF, ADF, HC, AA). To obtain enough representive samples, we collected a variety of 79 com coproduct (com DDGS 20, com bran with solubles 17, com gluten meal 26, corn germ meal 16) from main feed plants and big farms located in Sichuan provience. Firstly, we determined GE, NDF, color (L, a* and b*) of 79 samples and selected 10 samles of one kind according to GE and NDF. In the second part, the AME and AMEn of the 40 selected corn coproduct were determined. The experiment was conducted combining the difference method with the total collection method.336 laying hen of 62wk were assigned to 42 treatments with 8 replicate cages (2 birds/cage). Part 3 was used to evaluate the SIAAD of com coproduct with 5 samples per feed, a nitrogen free diet was used to detect the endogenous amino acid loses. A slaghter method was used to collect the ileum digesta to determine the SIAAD of com coproduct. Results:1) Com DDGS belong to protein feed. And the nutritive composition of DM, GE, CP, ash, EE, CF, ADF, NDF, HC of corn DDGS were 88.36%(86.18?91.39%),5049.26 kcal/kg (4272.15?5344.93 kcal/kg),29.11%(26.33?32.83%),6.07%(4.7?8.74%), 11.12%(2.18?17.78%),8.84%(7.16?11.81%),13.53%(10.79?21.49%),37.08% (30.37?48.41%),23.55%(19.07?27.8%) respectively; the first limit amino acid was Lys 0.81%(0.64?0.98%); The maxium of EAA was Leu 2.91%(2.00?3.72%), the minium of EAA was Met 0.46%(0.28?0.56%), the content of Lys was 0.81%(0.64? 0.98%); The AME and AMEn were 2008.2 kcal/kg (3291.8?4882.7 kcal/kg DM), AMEn 1920.29 kcal/kg (729.2?2535.4 kcal/kg DM) respectively; The TAA-SID was 77.80%(72.59?82.92%), TEAA-SID was77.87%(71.96?83.02%), TNEAA-SID 77.88%(72.92?82.72%).2) Corn bran with solubles partly belong to energy feed and partly belong to protein feed. Corresponding prediction equation were:AMEn (corn DDGS, kcal/kg)=0.74×GE(kcal/kg)-31.32×NDF(%)-110.01 ×ash(%)(r2=0.99,P<0.0001)? AMEn (corn gluten meal, kcal/kg)= 3.9× GE (kcal/kg)-89.5×CP (%)-52.5× ADF (%)-11600 (r2=0.85, P=0.0012).In conclusion, the chemical composition of corn coproducts varied largely. Although the nutritive value of corn coproduct varied largely, the current results showed that AMEn of corn DDGS and corn gluten meal could be accurately predicted from its chemical compositons.
