When people pay attention to the recreation of modern landscape, however, its ecological function is more important. Nowadays, health garden is very popular, not only brings the enjoy of beauty, but also plays an important role in adjusting the human physical and mental health and improve the natural environment, introducing medicinal garden plants into landscape space building becomes a new trend of landscape design. Combining the garden and production, realize the sustainable development of landscape ecology and economic. This study is based on this, doing an in-depth exploration about Dendrobium officinale, which is one of the medicinal garden plants, the purpose is to make a study on the Dendrobium officinale under the different light quality stem growth and the accumulation of secondary metabolites, and this study is full guaranteed under the premise of landscape ecological function and beautification function. To determine in which kind of light quality, Dendrobium officinale’s growth and secondary metabolites content to achieve the most reasonable value, in order to provide the basis for further improving the Dendrobium officinale cultures within the effective component production.This experiment adopts the single factor experiment, control the lighting time, temperature, light intensity, etc., using LED lamp and light quality, and the proportion of different combinations, growing consensus Dendrobium officinale seedling cultivation for 90 days. The main results were as follows:1. In terms of plant growth forms, for the plant height, there is a growing trend, in the short term, the white light is advantageous to the Dendrobium officinale of high growth, monochromatic yellow light for plant growth, in the long run, more conducive to 3:2 ratio of red and blue Dendrobium officinale plant growth. For the leaf number, the main trend of decrease, shows that the growth of iron caulis Dendrobium officinale are greatly influenced by light quality. For thick stems, there is a growing trend in red and blue when the ratio of 4:1 most for Dendrobium officinale stem diameter increased, white is the most unfavorable to Dendrobium officinale stem diameter increases.2. In terms of plant physiology, for chlorophyll, within 60 days from the red and blue mix ratio of 2:3 light to chla, CHLB, the accumulation of total chlorophyll content, light red and blue mix proportion for 60 days 3:2 for chla, CHLB, content of chlorophyll, total accumulation; Monochromatic light promotes the increase of chla/b, has a tendency to Yang biochemical. For alkaloid, is reduced after increase first, within 15 days monochromatic blue light is advantageous to the alkaloid content, monochromatic yellow light is advantageous to the alkaloid content within 30 days,30 days red blue light ratio of 2:3 is more advantageous to the processing of alkaloid content. Red and blue light of 3:2 ratio of processing is not conducive to the growth of the alkaloid content.
