There ere many advantages in the plants of Michelia on Magnoliaceae,such as a close branch,the compact crown,be neat and round,the rich flowers,be anti-pollution and strong.It is very useful for the material,medicinal,chemical and other places.Also,it is the world's famous ornamental garden tree species,with the good prospects for development.The study takes Michelia crasspis,Michelia floribunda,Michelia xanthantha,Michelia mediocris as the research objects,then take a systematic study on the technology of 4 kinds of Michelia plants with high branch grafting of Michelia macclurei,so that it can satisfy the needs of Michelia with the ornamental plants for the people living.The main results were as follows:(1)Four species of Michelia were grafted on the native and the transplanting rootstocks of Michelia macclurei,the average survival rates were 89%and 87%.The survival rate of the two rootstocks had no significant difference.The amount of growth of scion was significantly different.After 1 years grafting,the number of branch length,thickness and lateral bud growth of native Michelia macclurei scion were:170.0cm,2.65cm and 17.1,they were significantly higher than that of transplanting Michelia macclurei.(2)The results showed that there were significant differences in the grafting effect of different Michelia species on native and transplanting Michelia,macclurei rootstocks.Using the survival rate,growth rate and other indicators to have a comprehensive evaluation on the grafting effects,the effects of grafting quality were:Michelia crasspis>Michelia floribunda>Michelia xanthantha>Michelia mediocris.The Michelia crasspis was significantly better than the Michelia mediocris and the Michelia xanthantha ones.The survival rate and growth indicators of Michelia mediocris was significantly lower than those in the other three species.(3)The technique was the important factors for the successful Michelia species grafting.A system study was carried out by different grafting height,different grafting times,different scion's size,different scion's length and different dry method in this paper.Comprehensive analysis showed that in the actual production,the rootstocks height could choose between 2-6m,scion branch sizes in the range of 0.4-0.6cm,length could be between 4-6cm,and could take a one-time cut in the spring time for grafting.(4)There were correlations between the grafting rate and the growth rate of different grafting methods for Michelia high-grafting.The different rootstock,scion varieties,graft height,dry processing ways of survival rate and growth were positively related to relationship,then the grafting time,scion length and scion roughness were negatively related to survival rate and growth.(5)There were promoting effects when using NAA,ABT and GA3 to deal with the grafting scion of Michelia xanthantha and Michelia mediocris.While when the growth regulators and the concentration were different,the effects of it were significant difference,too.The most optimal processing of Michelia xanthantha was the concentration of NAA 150mg/L.The most optimal processing of Michelia mediocris was the concentration of GA3 100mg/L.
