The quarantine dogs at the border port is used for animals and plants and other goods subject to entry to carry passengers from working dog detection of things,is a kind of auxiliary inspection working dogs used in China in recent ten years.Quarantine dogs as a]special means of detection in inspection and quarantine work,is the use of smell sensitive dogs in entry-exit passengers baggage,parcel post or in the transport of goods,search out according to relevant state regulations prohibit carrying,mailing and transporting goods(meat products,aquatic products,fruits,vegetables and so on)a a working dog.Quarantine dogs are able to identify thousands of species of plants and animals of the odor of the products.Quarantine dogs as a new quarantine and inspection means,checking methods in improving the brigade post examination plays an important role in preventing the harmful foreign biological invasion.Application of quarantine dog can make up for the traditional manual inspection and X-ray fluoroscopy is insufficient,through the establishment of "person,machine,dog" new model of inspection,effectively reduce the occurrence of the phenomenon of escape detection,improve the accuracy of inspection and detection rate,preventing foreign pest introduction.The work fills our working dogs in the application of inspection and quarantine fields blank,China has become the United States,Canada,Australia,New Zealand and Japan carry out quarantine dogs after application of the country,to further improve the effectiveness of China Inspection and quarantine work.Jilin entry-exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau Changchun airport office began to introduce and use the quarantine dogs from 2009,with "person,machine,dog" three-in-one examination mode.The examination mode improves the prohibition of animal and plant products imported interception rate,improve the efficiency of inspection work,inspection and quarantine departments to expand the visibility and influence in the passengers,to enhance the inspection and quarantine departments affinity,to a certain role for propaganda and inspection and quarantine laws and common sense play.But at present the application process of quarantine dog also has many problems,such as the degree of acceptance requires specialized inspection site,visitors not,escape undetected phenomena have occurred,animal welfare is not in place and so.This paper intends to present application from the quarantine of canine selection,breeding,training,use,the advantage and disadvantage of inquiry and quarantine dogs in Changchun airport,clarify the quarantine dogs to examine the main effect in the process and the deficiency in the immigration inspection,in order to improve future "person-machine-dog" Trinity examination mode to provide reference for other ports,and the rational use of quarantine dogs provide a reference.
