Tetranychus cinnabarinus was an important pests of agriculture, forestry, fruit and vegetable in our coutry. The feature of them were well-adapted,wide spreading proliferated quickly and high mutation rate.It was important object of agricultural control. Neoseiulus califonicus can catch and hunt Tetranychus cinnabarinus. It was a kind of important natural enemy of Tetranychus cinnabarinus. This paper regarded the research feasibility of pollen as the alternative food for Neoseiulus califonicus. After the experiment,we screened out Malus domestica pollen, Benincasa hispida (Thunb.) Cogn pollen and camellia pollen as the relatively fine feeding pollen and formed life tables for Neoseiulus califonicus respectively feeded by three kinds of pollen. Then researched the degeneration of the predation capacity of Neoseiulus califonicus to Tetranychus cinnabarinus and the recovery of predation capacity after Neoseiulus califonicus fed by Tetranychus cinnabainus. The main researching results were as follows:1.Screening of alternative food for Neoseiulus califonicus15 species of plant pollen, including Luffa cylindricall pollen, Benincasa hispida (Thunb.) Cogn pollen, Malus domestica pollen and so on were used to feed Neoseiulus californicus respectively. We screened out Camellia japonica L Armeniaca vulgaris Lam pollen, Malus domestica pollen and Benincasa hispida (Thunb.)pollen could continue their population after observing the developmental situation developmental stage predation and spawning nate of Neoseiulus californicus.2. The formation of Neoseiulus califonicus'fertility life tableAt 25 degrees celsius, The fertility life table of Neoseiulus califonicus feeding on four kinds of foods was established. Neoseiulus califonicus can complete its generation by feeding Tetranychus cinnabarinus, Camellia japonica L pollen and Armeniaca vulgaris Lam pollen. The generation duration respectively were 8.35d,8.93d,10.42d,12.82d, the intrinsic rate of natural increase respectively were 0.2007,0.1792,0.1315,0.1145, the duration of population increase doubly respectively were 3.4536d,3.8680d,5.2711d,6.0536d.Whole generation duration feeding on Tetranychus cinnabarinusd and Malus domestica pollen were significantly shorter than that feeding on Luffa cylindricall pollen and Benincasa hispida (Thunb.) Cogn pollen. The result showed that Tetranychus cinnabarinusd and Malus domestica pollen were more suitable for Neoseiulus califonicus growth and reproduction.3.Effect of Tetranychus cinnabarinus, Malus domestica, Armeniaca vulgaris Lam nutrients on the growth reproduction of Neoseiulus califonicusAt 25 degrees celsius, Tetranychus cinnabarinus, Armeniaca vulgaris Lam pollen and Malus domestica pollen were used to feed Neoseiulus califonicus, respectively. Relationship both contented of protein and glycogen from 3 kinds of foods and growth and development were studied. The results indicated that the duration of Neoseiulus califonicus was nagetive correlation to glycogen and protein content, correlation coefficients were 0.9937 and 0.9640,respectively.The fecundity and hathabiliity of Neoseiulus californicus was positive correlation to glycogen and protein content, correlation coefficients were 0.9881 and 0.7120.4.The influence of Malus domesica pollen on the predation ability of Neoseiulus califonicus. At 25 degrees celsius, Neoseiulus californicus was fed on Malus domestica for nine generations. When it fed at the 3 generation,5 generation,7 generation and the 9 generation, the amount of average daily predation ability of Neoseiulus califonicus to Tetranychus cinnabarinus was determined. The result showed since 3 generation, the average daily predation was significantly lower than 1 generation as 9.6. When fed to 9 generation, the average daily predation came to 8.4.Since the 10 generation using Tetranychus cinnabarinus to feed Neoseiulus califonicus, the average daily predation replied to 10 approaching to the 1 generation after 6 generation.
