Studies On The Application Of Landscape Plants In The First Phase Of Haizhu Wetland Park

Haizhu Wetland Park is located in the Southeast of Haizhu District of Guangzhou.With the original acres of orchards as the core,total area 1100 hectares and water area 377 hectares.In order to deeply study the current situation of plant application and plant configuration in Haizhu Wetland Park,as well as analyse the landscape features,this article takes plants in the first phase of Haizhu wetland as the research object,study the types and application of the main garden plants.Based on consulting and collecting relevant information of wetland,it summarizes the main mode of plant configuration in Haizhu Wetland Park,discuss the existing problems and provides relevant optimization suggestions for the future construction and management of Haizhu Wetland Park.The main research results are as follows:There are 159 species of main garden plants in Haizhu Wetland Park,belonging to 79 families,which covers the original ecology of fruit trees,such as Dimocarpus longan.,Litchi chinensis.,Averrhoa carambola,Clausena lansium,and so on.Based on that the evergreen trees were configured,such as Sterculia nobilis and Elaeocarpus hainanensis;while the flowers,fruit trees and seasonal obvious characteristics of autumn leaf trees such as Delonix regia.,Antidesma bunius(L.)Spreng,Ilex rotunda.,Bischofia javanica were planted,which enriches the landscape effect,as well as retains the features of native plants of South China.There are various types of plant configuration in Haizhu wetland,including trees +ground cover plant;trees + shrub + ground cover plants;trees + shrubs + aquatic plant;trees + ground cover plants + aquatic plant;,shrub + ground cover plants + aquatic plant;tree + shrub + ground cover plants.Those are the 6 main configuration types.The basic types of plant configuration in the scenic spot are the original ecological trees mode,with Joe,irrigation,land,wetland,aquatic plant morphology and color diversity of reasonable collocation,with one by one group combination,reasonable layout,and beautiful flowers and fruit,these various types of landscape plant configuration reflected flower and foliage combinating the diversity of plants,plant collocation enriching layering of rich colors,beautiful gesture,and the beauty of the garden at the same time,improved the ecological environment,showing the features of native plants of South China.The Haizhu Wetland Park is originated from the orchard.There were some changes in fruit habitat,resulting in the improper blossom and fruit of the original ecological fruit,and unsatisfactory effect of trees landscape.Some fruit trees withered.Moreover,because the community of fruit changed from the original single community to artificial complex community,there was a conflict between the original fruit and introduced tree plants.Fruit trees aged or even withered and pests and diseases were Increased.There were also many non moisture tolerant plants in scenic hydrophilic region ans near the water’s edge,resulting in some plants can’t grow normally and even died.In view of the problems existing in the application and configuration of Haizhu Wetland Park,this paper brings out four countermeasures which are listed as following:1)Improving the original ecological cultivation technology of fruit trees by reducing the water level of fruit trees root as the main method,then the fruit trees can grow well,blossom normally,so that the visitors in the harvest season can taste delicious fruits with the exclusive favor of South China;2)Replacing the plants that are easily withered because of the wet by some local aquatic plants resources,so as to enriching scenic spot species;3)Creating the file and labels for the historical trees and fruit trees into wetland as conservation plants;4)Strengthening scenic plants conservation,making out the Haizhu Wetland Park’s greening maintenance standards and implementing the standards strictly.
