The citrus psyllid(Diaphorina citri Kuwayama), belongs to Hemiptera Chermidae is one of the serve insect pest of Rutaceous plants. Beside the direct feeding damage, citrus psyllid is the only known insect vector of citrus huanglongbing(HLB),citrus psyllid is the vector of Ca.L.asiaticus and Ca.L.americus. The spread and popularity of Citrus huanglongbing in the filed is intimated with the quantity and the active of the vectors.So the study of the relations between citrus psyllid and citrus huanglongbing,the relations between feeding time and efficiency of bacteria has important significance in vector insect control.Insects are known to harbor various of bacterial endosymbionts, until now the infection situation of endosymbionts in the citrus psyllid is still unknown. In this study, the symbiotic endosymbionts diversities in citrus psyllids are studied. Results are expected to provide a novel insight and theoretical basis for the interaction of bacterial symbionts and citrus psyllid. The main resluts of this study are as follows:1. The detection of endosymbionts in citrus psyllidThe bacterial endosymbiont diversity of citrus psyllid was detected using PCRmethod with bacterial universal primers. Results showed that all the populations of citrus psyllids in current study were infected by the primary endosymbiont Carsonella, the infection rates of other 5 endosymbionts was different. The infection rates of other 5endosymbionts from high to low was Profftella 95.91%,Wolbachia 88.14%,Arsenophonus78.75%,Oxalobacter & Herbaspirillum 40.95%?The pathogens of Ca.L.asiaticus was detected in all of 7 cities.2. The relation between feeding time and efficiency of bacteria in citrus psyllidThere was a resulted shows that after 1 hour feeding time the citrus psyllid would get the pathogens of Ca.L.asiaticus, and after 1 hour feeding time the citrus psyllid would infect the pathogens of Ca.L.asiaticus to the healthy plant. But until now the relationbetween feeding time and efficiency of bacteria in citrus psyllid is still unknown. In order to known the the relation between feeding time and efficiency of bacteria in citrus psyllid this study put the citrus psyllid in the plant which has the pathogens of Ca.L.asiaticus in different feeding times, which was including 1hr?3 hr?5 hr?7 hr?9 hr?11 hr; and between7 a.m-3p.m. ?3p.m.-11 p.m. ?11p.m.-7a.m three different feeding time. The study showed that the efficiency of bacteria was no different between feeding time after 7hr feeding, also9 hr and 11 hr feeding time was no different. But the efficiency of bacteria between 7hr feeding time and 9 feeding time was different. the efficiency of bacteria between 11 p.m.-7a.m. was higher than 3p.m.-11 p.m.
