The traditional syringe with needle plays an important role in delivering drugs for people and livestock, but there are some defects of it, such as causing pain, cross infection, subcutaneous nodules. It can cause stress reaction for livestock and large amount of work for the operator. The characteristic of needle free injector for livestock is quick and painless, no cross infection, good diffusion effect, for livestock farms, which can not only improve the efficiency of the injection, but also can improve the effect of absorption and injection safety.The current thesis is aiming to design a needle free system for livestock according to the characteristics of the above needle free injector, which is suitable for delivering drugs and vaccine for livestock, and make the evaluation of the effect of the injection.First of all, the overall structure of the needle free injection for livestock is designed according to the principle of needle free injection, combined with the actual situation of livestock injection and the differences between animal skin and human skin. The overall system mainly includes dose adjusting mechanism, pressurization mechanism, triggering mechanism, pedestal, cylinder components.Secondly, a mathematical model is established according to the structure and working principle of the needle free injection for livestock, the system parameters are determined based on the simulation analysis of the influence of some parameters.Thirdly, calculate and design the whole sealing system in view of the seal of pneumatic and hydraulic transmission system; analyze the sealing failure forms and causes, and put forward the measures; use finite element analysis to analyze the static and dynamic seal performance to improve seal design.Finally, on the basis of above research, a pneumatic needle-free system for livestock is made, and the system is evaluated through the dosage reliability experiment and inserting drugs into AGAR gel which is similar to animal’s skin.
