Survey And Evaluation On The Application Of Aromatic Plants In Nanchang Urban Area

This article is based on the application of the aromatic plants in gardens of different types in Nanchang urban area.Method of consulting literature materials,and the disciplinary crossing method,understand the origin and development of aromatic plants and the application in landscape architecture,combining with the landscape ecology,landscape science,traditional Chinese medicine health disciplines, such as latitude of Nanchang city and adjacent to the developed city, Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou and other different types of representative application of aromatic plants in green space, allocation form and the effect of the user response in the investigation. Main aromatic plant in green space and the new type of fragrant plant comparative investigation on the basis of the status quo of the application, combined with the analytic hierarchy process(AHP), summarizes of aromatic plants varieties suitable for Nanchang, aromatic plant application conditions and the configuration form,for the excellent construction of ecological city,a beautiful environment of healthy living environment to provide technical support and reference.The main conclusions are as follows:1,In the investigation and analysis of different green space types of Nanchang city streets, parks and so on, it found that there are 104 aromatic plants applied in Nanchang city, which belonging to 61 families,93 genera,including 36 kinds of trees,25 kinds of bushes,39 species of herbs and 5 species of lianas.According to the different parts of the releasing fragrance: flowers plants in total plant species accounted for 20 percent, general plants for 20 percent, all plants are all plants with incense for 1 percent,sweet root plants for 0 percent;according to the scent degree of releasing fragrance in aromatic plants: the proportion of weakest scent in total plant species is 8 percent, weaker scent is 3 percent,aroma is 12 percent; according to the season of releasing aroma: the fragrance releasing in spring accounted for 5 percent, summer for 8 percent, autumn for 1 percent and winter for3 percent,what’s more,the fragrance releasing throughout the year accounted for 5 percent.2,On the basis of detailed investigation in different green space types of Nanchang city streets, parks and other application of aromatic plants, the dominant species with a aromatic plant are analyzed. It found that the aromatic plants applied in downtown Nanchang are mainly concentrated in the families of Lauraceae, Theaceae, oleaceae,magnoliaceae. In the scope of the investigation, Cinnamomum camphora, the most widely used in the old district, accounted for 50.1 percent;followed by Osmanthus fragrans,accounted for 6.3%;Magnolia Grandiflora,accounted for 3.2%;Michelia chapensis,accounted for 2.9%.in addition to traditional aromatic plants applied more in the new district, it also added some aromatic plants with the effect of fruits, such as grapefruit,orange tree.3, using analytic hierarchy process(AHP), the synthetic evaluation of landscape in Nanchang’s aromatic plants has been carried on,it is concluded that the aromatic plantswhich fit in Nanchang’s urban landscaping are Cinnamomum camphora、Chimonanthus praecox、Pelargonium graveolens、Nelumbo nucifera、Lavandula angustifolia、Juniperus pingii var. wilsonii、Juniperus chinensis 、Trachelospermum jasminoides、Rosmarinus officinalis 、 Camellia japonic 、 Citrus maxima and more than 50 kinds,furthermore,in accordance with the releasing season(spring, summer, autumn, winter),different degrees of the releasing fragrant of trees, shrubs, vines, herbs and other factors, the map about the aromatic plants applied in Nanchang is drawn.4. On the basis of the investigation of aromatic plants in Nanchang’s main urban area and in the typical garden green of four cities, which are in the same latitude, it analyzes the problems existing in the application of aromatic plants Nanchang city gardens, that mainly is less construction of specialized garden in aromatic plants, rich local aromatic plants resources but less applied varieties, especially less application in herbal and vine and single type of plant landscape in aromatic plants.5, Through the analysis of survey data, combining the future development trend of the residential environment construction in Nanchang city, the suggestions about Nanchang’s urban landscape construction are proposed:such as increasing the domestication and application research of local fragrant plants; increasing the introduction and promotion of fine aromatic plants; increasing the application of aromatic plants in the water, wetland,vertical greening and roof garden; developing the effective configuration forms in aromatic plants landscape and the aromatization functions,etc.
