Crop production in Yellow River irrigation area of Shandong is mainly rely on the Yellow River. The amount of sediment concentration caused in blockage of channels and we have to dredging year by year. In some places the sedimentation problems of channels are temporarily solved by using Warping Consolidation measures, but those measures also made the levees thickened and heightened and difficult to irrigate fields. Especially in Shandong Yellow River Basin region due to wind erosion, water erosion and other soil erosion, land has been on decrease, coupled with the shallow water table, will increase water logging and promote the development of secondary Stalinization. How to deal with sediment in irrigated areas has become a serious problem.This experiment is located in Kenli County, Dongying City in 2014-2015. The testing irrigation water is from the Yellow River. The main research under different irrigation patterns,sediment transport and distribution and water use efficiency of winter wheat field and its correlation. The test were set four kinds of irrigation, conventional irrigation, surge irrigation,surge irrigation alternately spaced intervals and fixed surge irrigation. The number of cycles is2, the next election cycle rate of 1/3 of the case, the interval alternately surge irrigation compared to conventional water-saving irrigation 28.77%-32.50%. The main conclusions are as follows:1. Sediment Distribution: Irrigation sediment caused by infiltration field soil particle size distribution and does not change significantly compared to irrigation, and irrigation quota greater the more significant changes. Increased sand, silt reduction, an increase in clay soil structural improvement, indicating that muddy water irrigation could improve soil structure.Compared with traditional irrigation, surge irrigation interval of alternately make irrigation water, sediment transport in the field more uniform, more uniform improve soil structure.2. Sediment transport in field: In the soil 0 ~ 20 cm, and compared to traditional irrigation,surge irrigation under conditions of alternating waves, sediment transport field even more,this is because the traditional irrigation drainage continued for a long time, running from the large irrigation, water sediment precipitates in the process of moving, so that the field of water travels to the end of the plot to carry sediment reduction, and is a fine sediment particles.3.
