With the development of information processing technology,research based on computer vision and image processing technology has been given more and more attention.DSP-based visual image processing system has a small size,low power consumption,so it has become a hot research field in computer vision.The scale of fishery farming shows a trend of growing in our country.The rational application of advanced technology to the fishery farming can reduce manpower and improve efficiency.The fish in the same pond will be different size due to differences in the quality and feeding ability after a period of time.The fish need grading so that the diffierent grading fish get growth.The traditional classification method mainly relies on manual observation sorting.It requires a lot of manpower and resource,and the sorting is rough.The efficiency has been improved by using mechanical for fishing grading,but it causes the damage to fish,as well as affecting economic efficiency.Content of this paper includes the following aspects:(1)This paper introduces the domestic and foreign research and progress in fish farming,and the application of advanced technologies in fishery and aquaculture production,pointing out the shortcomings.In this paper,four kinds of fish has been get research.The data of the fish body length,body width and weight has been collected and analyzed.The relationships between fish body length,body width and body weight were obtained.(2)Characteristics of fish surface features is collected and analyzed.table color characteristics of fish were collected through a series of operations such as image enhancement,restoration,and segmentation,which can help us to grade fish through scientific data.External rectangle algorithm is used to measure the inclination of image and then to correct the image.(3)The hardware platform for fish grading automation is built and the software is designed in this paper.The hardware platform includs the image capture module,the video decoding module,the image processing module,the video encoding module,the data output module and the PC operating module.It focuses on the video input module and the video output module.The working principles of the chips in every module were introduced.The software of the video input module and the video output module is designed as well as the graphical user interface.The research of farmed fish grading system in this paper can provide a reference for automated grading fish.It will help improve the country's fishery modernization,as well as improving the level of automation of the fishery.
