The topography of the southern foothills varied is variable, leading to serious soil erosion in this area.Changsha in the transition zone is from hill to plain, and red loam is the major.Because of red soil heavy, the poor retention of fertility, poor tilth, the characteristics of acid, glue and thin,it makes the Changsha area soil moisture work accept challenges.Soil erosion harm not only damages to the land resource, but also makes the agricultural production environment becoming worse. It makes damage to the ecological balance, leading to flood drought increasingly frequent, and walks of life are subject to a certain impact on the development of production. Based on soil characteristics in Changsha,we start to study the effect of all kinds of properties for the soil Infiltration performance.Studying the problem contributes to reducing surface runoff, increasing soil infiltration and preventing soil erosion and improve ecological environment construction, which has important significance. This test uses artificial rainfall device to simulate rainfall process.According to orthogonal test plan,we make the orthogonal test plan about five factors and four levels; To investigate the effects of two-factor interactions,we make the orthogonal test plan about five factors and two levels. The results show that:1.We find that among the five factors of the beginning of the soil moisture content, surface slope, rainfall intensity, rainfall and vegetation coverage, the influence of rainfall intensity is the most significant, and secondly order of the influence is soil initial moisture content, slope, rainfall and vegetation coverage.2.About two-factor interactions,we find that the interaction of the soil initial moisture content and the rainfall intensity, the interaction of slope and rainfall intensity, the interaction of the rainfall and vegetation coverage, the interaction of the slope with rainfall duration, rainfall intensity and the interaction of the vegetation coverage, the interaction of the rainfall intensity and rainfall duration have highly significant influence on soil infiltration rate through the analysis of F test.
