One of the focus of modern ecology was the recovery and reconstruction of degraded ecosystem.The research of ecological restoration centerd on weak regions such as mountains,hills,grasslands at present.In order to get the characteristics of soil nutrient content changes and spatial variation of Vitex negundo,analyze four Vitex negundo samplings in sunny slope of Taihang mountain.Measured soil pH ,moisture content,organic matter,total nitrogen and available phosphorus content by using traditional statistical method and geostatistics method,the main results were as follows:1.The average of soil pH and moisture content was 7.41 and 11.27%,so it indicated the soil was faintly acid.Average of soil organic matter,total nitrogen and available phosphorus were 13.783 g/Kg,0.849 g/Kg and 7.060 mg/Kg,which was low in nutrient classification level.In terms of variation function,soil pH and moisture content was weak variation;soil organic matter and total nitrogen was moderate variation and available phosphorus was strong variations.2.On the whole,the correlation of soil nutrients were as follows: There was a very significant negative correlation relationship between pH and organic matter,total nitrogen.Total nitrogen and organic matter reached a significant level positive correlation.There were no correlation between available phosphorus and pH ,organic matter,total nitrogen.3.The semivariance analysis of soil nutrients showed that: The C0 of soil nutrient were small in the same depth of different horizontal distance;Most of soil nutrient C0/(C + C0)less than 25%;the ranges of organic matter?total nitrogen?available phosphorus were 39.9 ~ 339.2meters ? 69.97~598.60 meters ? 76.70~1232.7meters respectively;the RSS of analogue functions about soil nutrient were small,so it explained that imitative effects of the functions wae good.4.The research of soil nutrients space variation in the same depths and different horizontal were as follows: In the surface layer(0-5 cm),most of soil organic matter and total nitrogen of three shrubs raised before 60-90 cm then fell.The concent of soil organic matter fell at first then rose in the fourth shrub.The trend of available phosphorus was contrary to the trend of organic matter and total nitrogen.Most of the trends of available phosphorus in three shrubs were fell at first then rose whereas the fourth shrub was just on the contrary.In the middle level(5-10cm),most of soil organic matter and total nitrogen of 3 shrubs raised before 60-90 cm then fell and the trends were the same with the surface layer.The changes of content of soil organic matter and total nitrogen were stable with the changs of horizontal distance.Most of soil available phosphorus of three shrubs raised before 60-90 cm then fell whereas the trend of the fourth shrubs was reverse.In the subsoil,soil organic matter and total nitrogen content of varied with the change of horizontal distance stable.Soil available phosphorus concent raised then fell along with the increase of distance mostly.In the vertical direction,most of the soil nutrient content reduced along with the deepening of the distance.
