The research of the maximum power point tracking(MPPT)architecture and control algorithm of the photovoltaic array is the core technology of photovoltaic power generation and one of the main research contents.In order to study the circuit analysis and control algorithm of MPPT,the photovoltaic simulator and MPPT circuit are required to work together to shorten the development time.The existing photovoltaic simulator is designed for the independent work of the simulator mainly,it cannot be applied to the system analysis and experiment of centralized MPPT architecture and distributed MPPT architecture that need to analyze the collaborative work of multiple photovoltaic simulator modules,so design and build a photovoltaic simulation system for centralized MPPT architecture and distributed MPPT architecture has great practical significance and application value.In order to design and build a photovoltaic simulation system for centralized MPPT architecture and distributed MPPT architecture,this article first studied the photovoltaic cell output characteristic and analyzed the single diode model and the engineering applied mathematics model,it provides theoretical basis for the design of photovoltaic simulator.Then,the mathematical model of photovoltaic cells is improved and optimized based on the characteristics of photovoltaic cells and applied mathematical models of engineering applications,aiming at the application of centralized MPPT architecture and distributed MPPT architecture,it provides a theoretical basis for the subsequent establishment of the photovoltaic simulation system experiment platform for centralized MPPT architecture and distributed MPPT architecture.In order to complete the design and construction of the photovoltaic simulation system,we need to design the photovoltaic simulator module that can simulate independent photovoltaic modules firstly.The conventional photovoltaic simulator can not realize the global high-precision simulation of photovoltaic cells by using current control or voltage control,so this paper design the dual mode control strategy and four-paragraph curve fitting scheme for photovoltaic simulator,the new control strategy and fitting scheme can improve the dynamic performance and steady-state performance of photovoltaic simulator.This paper completes the hardware and software design of the photovoltaic simulator module,a photovoltaic simulation system is designed for centralized MPPT architecture and distributed MPPT architecture based on the photovoltaic simulator module,and a matching upper computer software is developed.Finally,the two-mode control strategy and four-section curve fitting scheme are tested and verified based on the principle prototype of photovoltaic simulator module.The experimental platform of photovoltaic simulation system for centralized MPPT architecture and distributed MPPT architecture is architected,the photovoltaic array output characteristics of the centralized MPPT architecture and the distributed MPPT architecture are verified through this experimental platform.
